I’m a communications professional for the University of Washington, and I work from home five days a week. I volunteered for a dog rescue for six years: leading adoption events, conducting home visits, and taking photos. I have been walking and sitting dogs for the past six years. I grew up with medium/big dogs (springer spaniel, lab, and weimaraners) and now have a small terrier rescue, Ellie! I understand the importance of ongoing communication, reliability and attention to detail. Because it’s also important to me as a dog owner, I send photos regularly, so you know how things are going.

Mandy and Ellie are the absolute sweetest!! So communicative, kind, and thoughtful. My little anxious guy has separation anxiety and she makes him feel right at home! So so grateful for Mandy and Ellie’s care!
Mandy took excellent care of our dog, Buster! He was very comfortable in her home and got along great with her dog, Ellie - we loved seeing pics of the two of them together. We would definitely book Mandy again in the future!
Mandy is an outstanding sitter and does a great job taking care of our little boomer every time he stays with her! She even goes so far as to bring him down to the market on a sunny day ❤️
Mandy takes great care of my older dog fisher and is very communicative. She’s been flexible with my scheduling shifts and I appreciate the photos she sends. Mostly though it’s that she makes my anxious dog feels comfortable!
Our Basil enjoyed another stay with Mandy and again, happy campers all around! He recognized her upon arrival and was at ease to return for another stay. As ever, Mandy was super responsive, provided updates, and made drop off and pick up easy.
Mandy was fantastic! We felt comfortable having Juno stay with her during our trip. She was very accommodating by suggesting a meet and greet for our pups, sending pics regularly, and taking Juno on walks to the nearby parks. We would definitely love to book her time again for future trips!

Schedule
I work from home five days a week and am happy to have another dog join the routine of Ellie and I. We typical walk three times a day.

I’m available to sit dogs in my home. I only accept one dog at a time. I have a lot of puzzle toys at the apartment and enjoy working with dogs on skills to build their confidence.

I have fun games for dogs to play. we’ll take walks around the neighborhood where there’s a lot of smells and there are parks within walking distance.
