I have a one bedroom apartment that can comfortably fit your pet. I do live at the top of two flights of stairs so please let me know if your pet has trouble with stairs (and doesn’t like to be carried or is too heavy to carry). I live on a quiet, safe, pedestrian neighborhood ideal for long walks and near a dog park! I also live with my partner, he’s great with pets but please let me know if your dog needs to be introduced to him too and am happy to arrange that.

I want to make sure your pup is the right fit! With that in mind, I don’t typically take boarding or day care requests without a meet and greet first to get to know how your dog behaves. Thanks for understanding! Let me know any dietary or special needs, whether your dog is friendly (or not) with other dogs, pets, people, or children, whether your dog has physical limitations like stairs or jumping (and if they need to be carried or lifted)! For larger dogs, please provide information about their walking behavior, leash training, and what types of leads you use to ensure that we’re a good physical match :)

Greetings! My name is Mallory and I’m a lawyer living in Oakland. I grew up with a dog (a border collie mix and my mom's Westie) in the house and have extensive experience dog sitting for friends. I'm looking forward to the time in my life when I can have my own dog again, but in the meantime I would love to watch yours!

I've known Mallory for 7 years. She is responsible, active, and kind. When my partner and I adopted a senior dachshund (Patches) 2 years ago, we were incredibly overwhelmed by his many unexpected health conditions. Mallory was one of the first people we turned to! She helped take care of Patches for many afternoons while he was still recovering from a herniated disc and we weren't able to be around. Because he has severe separation anxiety, she still spends time with him often and he's always excited to see her. I am positive she will give other dogs the same love and attention she gives Patches! Any dog would be lucky to go on a walk or spend an afternoon (or night) with her.
Mallory has been a wonderful caregiver to my senior dachshund on a number of different occasions. My dog has mobility issues and other health concerns and Mallory handles them all expertly. I know my dog is well loved in her care and plan on booking with her again in the future.
Mallory is a fantastic person and pet caregiver! I have known Mallory for several years and can attest to her being very responsible, attentive, and loving towards pets. She has taken care of my cat as well as our mutual friends' dogs over the years, and is a go-to support in our lives.
