I come from a small town so I have owned dogs my whole life. I’m more comfortable caring for pets than I am around most people. I pay attention and listen to body language. I can teach tricks and correct behavior if necessary. I love to go outside and play and take long walks (if they are up for it!). I can’t wait to see you and your babies.

Whenever I care for pets in someone else’s home, I usually tend to stay in one room for the first day. I hate to make pets feel uncomfortable moving around in their space so I just keep myself in one place until the pet feels comfortable enough to allow me to move around freely. Usually, if they’re not comfortable with me, I tend to just give them their space until they’re ready.

So happy we went with Makia to look after our fur babies! She was very communicative, made sure that we got plenty of updates, and genuinely cares about the dogs she’s looking after.
This was our second time using Makia as a sitter and we will absolutely be using her as a regular sitter moving forward. She is communicative, thoughtful and even went above and beyond by transitioning our dog to a new Rx diet while we were gone. I’d recommend her to anyone.
Makia was amazing! She asked thoughtful questions at our meet and greet and Chewie immediately warmed up to her. During the house sitting she sent us daily pic/vid updates and communicated clearly. We came home to a clean house and a very happy pup. I would use Makia again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her.
Makia did awesome taking care of my fur babies while I was out of town for 9 days. She sent me updates and photos regularly and took great care of my house too. I would hire her again and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care!

Kiki is amazing!! She was very responsive, communicative and considerate during her sit with our dog. We can tell our dog loved her and was well cared for. She gave us many updates and was so kind! She was very respectful while staying at our place — we hardly would have known she was there when we came home! I would definitely go back to her first in the future. She is overall a very responsible and compassionate pet sitter.

- I would like to know if your pet doesn’t get along with other pets. I share a space with two other people and they have a dog. I would like to respect their boundaries. They don’t mind me having pets over however if your dog has behavioral issues I would need to know in advance. I also need to know about any allergies or medications.
