Hi! I’m Makenna. I’m spending the summer in Brentwood Bay after finishing my first year in the Veterinary Technology program at Thompson Rivers University. I love working with animals and have experience from both a doggy daycare and the veterinary field. I also have my Dog First Aid certification. I have a rescue dog named Renfrew, so I know every dog is different and has their own personality and needs. Whether your pup loves to play, go for walks, or just relax and get cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. Harmonogram
Since I'm not working right now, I can easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of time to make sure pets get all the attention, exercise, and care they need. My day usually includes feeding, playtime, and walks with my dog Renfrew. I also set aside time for grooming and any necessary medical care. This way, I can provide consistent and high-quality care for pets every day of the week.

I ensure pets are safe by creating a secure environment and providing regular supervision, proper nutrition, and lots of love. My experience working at dog daycares and in the veterinary field has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to offer exceptional care. I have ample space for regular walks, ensuring that pets get the exercise and attention they need to stay happy and healthy.

Every dog is different, so I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible. We’ll spend time going for walks, playing, hanging out in the yard, and getting lots of attention and cuddles. Renfrew and I love getting outside, whether that’s exploring local trails, finding a nice view, or spending time by the water. My goal is to make sure your pup feels comfortable, has fun, and gets plenty of exercise while you’re away.
