As a life-long pet lover and a previous VCA professional, I'm comfortable with any animal, big or small. I have experience caring for dogs and cats, of course, but also reptiles, fish, rodents, rabbits. I can handle any level of reactivity with the proper tools and instruction. As a professional pet caregiver, your animal’s safety and comfort are my top priority. Trust, communication, and patience are the keys to quality care! Unfortunately at this time I don't have the capacity to accommodate boarding requests.

I will care for your pets in the comfort of their own home while disturbing your private space as little as possible. I’m experienced with providing complex feeding instructions, administering medications, and following any pet care guides left for my reference. I am unable to accommodate overnight or boarding requests at this time.

Makayla is an amazing pet caretaker. She goes above and beyond with animal welfare and is very understanding of the needs and quirks animals might have as well as those of an anxious pet owner. She has watched my cat on numerous occasions while I've been out of town. Makayla has sent me pictures and videos of my cat playing, makes sure she eats as a picky girl, and is able to make sure she doesn't make any kind of mess. I totally recommend her as a caretaker!
Makayla watched my small dog, Poppy, and did a perfect job. Poppy can be a bit clingy and anxious but Makayla handled it easily. As well as prompt to respond to my messages and well experienced in handling animals. Leaving my dog with her is an easy decision, will use her as often as Im able to!

Schedule
I work full-time at a remote position, so even if I’m working, I’ll be around to care for your pet. I can either work from your home, or drop by as many times as necessary to care for your animals.
