I have been trained as a dog handler and kitten foster for several animal rescues I've volunteered with over the past 6 years. I have had pets my whole life, ranging from dogs and cats to geckos and rats! I have been pet sitting for 6 years with several long term clients.

I always visit pets in their home first for a consult before beginning the job. I like to meet the pet so that they are familiar with me and observe how the pet behaves with its owner in the comfort of its home. This is helpful for understanding a pet's behavior so I can be aware of any signs of stress or illness. It is important to me to maintain the pets routines as much as I can while the owner is gone to reduce stress, and provide them with the enrichment that they need.

Mairin is a wonderful dog sitter. She is communicative and caring. We came home to a happy dog and a well taken care of home.
Mairin is so good with our cat pancho! He requires extra love due to his diabetes diagnosis and Mairin had no problems with his injections. Love the photo updates she sends!
Mairin was so amazing. She was so sweet and took great care of our dog. She had some medical issues right before we left and Mairin changed her bandages every day and gave her medications. Her sweet photos definitely eased my mind while we were gone. We'd hire her again in a heartbeat!

Mairin has pet sit for us on numerous occasions, including day visits, overnights and even helped with the care and bottle feeding of a three week old foster lamb. She’s taken care of our two urban ducks with high needs, 2 indoor cats with low needs and has been available on short notice for a dog sleepover. She’s an animal lover to the heart and pretty friendly with humans too. We trust Mairin completely and she’s often shared photos of our pets loving her company while we’re away. We highly recommend her for all pet sitting needs!
Mairin helped us out with some last minute dog care and they were a pleasure! They were happy to walk our pup and spend time outside while we were having some construction done inside and neither my partner nor I could be home. We absolutely would recommend Mairin! They also were so great walking our can-be reactive pup and keeping in mind all the strategies we use to help manage her behavior. 10/10 wonderful service!

Zeitplan
I'm a recent college grad enjoying the slow life after working hard towards my degree. I have two part time jobs that only take up about half of my day each day so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet and give them the attention they need. I do have two of my own cats so for house sitting I do have to come home twice a day to care of my babies.
