I have a full-time job which is mainly office based but I also have flexibility if I’m pet sitting so that I can work more days from home and also half-days remotely, half days in the office. That has always worked well. I have always taken the pet for a long walk before starting to work and then taken them for quicker shorter walks during the day and for a long walk (2-3hrs) after the workday.

Information Maiju-Leena P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog has any behavioral issues that may need to taken into account especially when walking the dog in places with other dogs. Also, if there are any type of other dogs they may not get along with so that I am prepared.
A typical day
I always take the pet for at least an hour long walk first thing in the morning. After that follows some play time and possible grooming. Along the day there will be more shorter walks (could also be longer ones, as needed) and a really good long walk in the afternoon/evening with some more play time and a last quicker walk just before bed time. When taking care of pets I like to think how I would feel if I was an animal myself that had to stay indoors for extended hours without any kind of stimulation or interaction. Therefore, I like to give my 110% when pet sitting, as we have chosen to have them in our lives for a reason and we should be able to commit ourselves for all that it involves.
