My weekday availability is variable, but I'm generally available for visits, walks or pet sitting from late morning through evening. I also offer daycare and boarding in my home when possible. If you have specific and/or complex needs, require overnight pet care in your home, or have any concerns at all, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate within my capacity.

I have a two-bedroom pet friendly space with a small enclosed patio, and am a part-time-co-dog-parent to a friendly, well-socialized 5 year old Irish Terrier named Pesto. If your dog is nervous or stressed, Pesto can easily be kept separate or relax in her crate.

A typical day
When pet sitting, I like to start with letting them explore all the sniffs and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. When they’re ready for adventure, or if hired just for a walk, I stick to pedestrian paths, parks and low-traffic areas. Back at home, we can search the toy bin and find a favourite to play with indoors or on the patio, or relax and settle in for some scritches. For daycare and boarding services, we’ll go on a minimum of two walks per day, likely three, weather permitting.

Pet care experience
I grew up around animals, and have been responsible for family pets since I was 5 years old. My dog Pesto and I have completed basic and intermediate agility training, and I have experience with senior dogs and those with complex needs.

Maggie is fantastic with our dog, Jax. She is so calm, patient and affectionate with him. We will definitely be asking her to walk him again!
Maggie is wonderful. Our little schnoodle is quite fussy, and Maggie won her over with her calm and lovely disposition. Maggie sent us (the nervous parents) text message updates, photos, and videos throughout the day, which continually assured us all was well. We warmly recommend Maggie, and will book her again ourselves.
Maggie is an extremely trustworthy and reliable person. They are kind and gentle with my dog who has fear around new humans. I know that my dog will be safe, loved and cared for in their hands which gives me piece of mind when I am away.
