Dog Trainer Pet Sitting and Walking

I’m a dog trainer and animal lover wanting to walk and watch dogs for my community. I professionally train dogs with years of hands on experience from training and walking neighbor’s, family’s, and friend’s dogs. I want to have genuine connections with my returning pups and help maintain peaceful downtime at home. I am familiar with different dog training tools and methods so when caring for your dog I can ensure your pup gets the same structure as they do with you. If supplied with a retractable leash or long line I would love to take your dog to play fetch, run, and explore at a nearby park, beach, or field. I love to tackle puppy behaviors with positive methods and offer tons of solutions to typical puppy shenanigans when dog sitting. Un-house broken, teething, and high energy pooches are welcome and wanted!

There are only morning/evening timed services on these days such as walks and check-ins. Mondays I do not offer morning services, but afternoon/evening times are good to go for walking, check- ins, and dog sitting.

Safety, trust & environment

I want to love and dote on your dog as much as I do my own, showering them in attention and playtime while I’m with them. When walking a new dog I get a rundown of known behaviors, tools, or reactions to be aware of, and will ensure the current methods you use are understood and applied correctly. If there is no preferred method or procedure for walks, I’ll bring my bag of treats, toys and poop bags then off we go! When dog sitting or check-ins let me know your dogs preferred feeding schedules and daily routine so I can keep your dog steady along their regular path. If there’s any house rules I should know for your dog such as no pets on the furniture or in specific rooms I will ensure they’re followed.

Pets

A typical day

When walking your dog I would love to take them to a close by park or beach and play some fetch and run around. I will never let your dog fully off leash and will always use a retractable or long line leash for safety. During warmer months, hiking through the woods is a fun activity that your dog will love.

Any known medical issues needs to be fully disclose before taking your dog. If there is any medications or protocol that should be followed in case of an emergency, please let me know so I can prioritize your dogs health and safety above all. Reactivity or aggression of any kind needs to be known in order to ensure I can take the proper steps for your dog to minimize stress and possible encounters that may happen during the course of our time together.
