I have a philosophy with dogs that they deserve respect if they need space, love, or want to make a right instead of a left. When it’s their time, it’s their time. I will also respect your rules. I have no intention to let your dog sit on my couch if that’s not your thing! I’m here to make leaving your dog a little less worrisome, difficult, and sad. We all know how that can be, why not make it fun!

I’ll need to know how you prefer them to interact with other animals & people. Any fears they have and any training practices you want to be kept up. If requesting boarding, I also ask they be dropped off with their leash, their crate (if they use one), food, favorite treats, any toys, and anything else they need to be comfortable. If this is an issue please let me know!

We’ll go for walks, play, and cuddle! I live near the beach and a short drive to a hiking trail, if they’re up for an adventure.

I had a wonderful cranky dog for most of my life. I trained him and learned how we worked together. I helped take care of him into his old age where I learned how to give him his diabetes injections and his anxiety medication. Recently, (post his passing) I have been volunteering at animal shelters taking care of a range of dogs.

Madelaine was amazing when my beagle, Cornelius, needed a dogsitter. She sent me daily updates and pictures of all the hijinks they got into, including the dog park and going to Corny's favorite bodega. When I got back I thought Corny wouldn't want to come home! In my opinion that is the best sign of an excellent sitter. Thank you Madelaine!!!
