Hello! I can't wait to provide exceptional care to your furry family. I have been working in the professional pet care field for over 5 years and have lots of experience with animals of all temperaments, energy levels and needs! I was a manager/ supervisor of two dog daycares in Colorado which gave me a vast understanding of dog behavior in general as well as that of different breeds. This also gave me experience in caring for elderly dogs and administering oral and topical medications. I have also volunteered for shelters working with fearful and high arousal dogs using patience and treats in order to allow their personalities blossom! In my pet sitting career I have safely worked with dogs who are both dog and human reactive, as well as those with high prey drive. I am always happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs, whether they are a little nervous, highly active, or just need someone to give them lots of love. I will make sure your pets are always safe, happy, and enriched before you come home!

Mackinna did a wonderful job watching our dog and home while we were gone for two weeks. We had only adopted him a few weeks before leaving, so were nervous, but she put our minds at ease, sending sweet updates and reassurances. She also took great care of our house, bringing in packages, watering plants, etc. Would absolutely recommend her and hire her again.
Mackinna does such a good job loving our dogs while we are gone and I trust her completely with my house. I will keep booking her as long as she is willing to deal with my wild bunch!
Mackinna did a great job watching our dog and house for a long weekend away. She was communicative and did a great job dealing with our stubborn older dog. She left the dog and house in great condition.

We love having Mackinna take care of our little dude! She is always reliable and trustworthy
Mackinna was incredible! Our 10 month GSD had an injury after we had already booked and done a meet and greet and she still took the best care of her. Our pup had a cut paw pad so she required a lot of administered medication, a cone, no jumping or playing and a special wrap over her foot when going outside. Mackinna did the best job at all of these extra challenges and did a great job updating us. You can 100% trust her with your pet’s care!

Programa
I currently work Mondays and Tuesdays in 6-7 hour shifts at the Detroit Zoo. All other days I will mostly be available for 24 hour care
