I currently work Mondays and Tuesdays in 6-7 hour shifts at the Detroit Zoo. All other days I will mostly be available for 24 hour care

Please let me know what your dog enjoys most! I am more than happy to go for a long walk or play fetch for hours if your dog enjoys those activities. I also love to stuff and freeze Kongs with owner approved ingredients before heading to work!

Hello! I can't wait to provide exceptional care to your furry family. I have been working in the professional pet care field for over 5 years and have lots of experience with animals of all temperaments, energy levels and needs! I was a manager/ supervisor of two dog daycares in Colorado which gave me a vast understanding of dog behavior in general as well as that of different breeds. This also gave me experience in caring for elderly dogs and administering oral and topical medications. I have also volunteered for shelters working with fearful and high arousal dogs using patience and treats in order to allow their personalities blossom! In my pet sitting career I have safely worked with dogs who are both dog and human reactive, as well as those with high prey drive. I am always happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs, whether they are a little nervous, highly active, or just need someone to give them lots of love. I will make sure your pets are always safe, happy, and enriched before you come home!

Mackinna did a wonderful job watching our dog and home while we were gone for two weeks. We had only adopted him a few weeks before leaving, so were nervous, but she put our minds at ease, sending sweet updates and reassurances. She also took great care of our house, bringing in packages, watering plants, etc. Would absolutely recommend her and hire her again.
Mackinna does such a good job loving our dogs while we are gone and I trust her completely with my house. I will keep booking her as long as she is willing to deal with my wild bunch!
Mackinna did a great job watching our dog and house for a long weekend away. She was communicative and did a great job dealing with our stubborn older dog. She left the dog and house in great condition.
