Hi there! I've been working with pets for many years now. Besides having taken care of my own pets, I have also volunteered with nonprofits that work with animals. Over the past few years I have been traveling more and do this by petsitting for families of humans and pets in different locations. I am happy to travel to different locations and to explore new places, especially when there's a furball (or two or three) to join me there! For this reason, I do prefer longer stay-in sits. This helps me get to know the area and, more importantly, build a relationship with your pet(s). However, I'm also happy to meet new friends for shorter adventures closer to home. I have experience in basic obedience training for puppies and have also worked as a puppy-raiser for the Guide Dog Association - the last of which is nothing less than a 24-hour-a-day job and so worth it. I'm a non-smoker and am vaccinated. I also enjoy living in a clean environment and will clean up after myself. I work fully remotely and I usually spend most of my time at home. As long as there's a solid internet connection, I'll be there to cuddle, love and exercise your furry loved one(s) until kingdom come. I prefer house sits, as a pet is generally more comfortable and relaxed in their own home. I like to maintain a decent schedule with pets, which also helps to put them at ease and helps them to know what to expect. I usually ask pet owners to guide me on how best they would like their pet(s) to be taken care of. This can include a specific routine or training, meal preparation, exercise and playtime. Each pet is different, both physically and emotionally, and I'd like to offer pets a safe and caring environment which caters to their needs. If you'd like more information, please get in touch.
