I have had many years of experience in dog ownership, dog sitting, dog breeding, and dog rescue. I have several of my own dogs of various breeds and I also breed AKC registered Icelandic Sheepdogs. Dogs are the center of my life and their happiness is mine. I believe exercise and play are very important aspects of what makes a dog happy as well as comfort, attention and love. I provide a very personalized dog care experience that is flexible to fit your dogs needs. I am able to accommodate high energy dogs on a large property that is ideal for dog exercise and play. When not outside, dogs are kept in an ideal set up in my home where they are provided the same comfort they would in their own home. Your dog will feel comfortable and at ease while you are away.

Booking Lucy was a success! Uddah Lotte came home from Lucy's summer camp ranch in superior condition following his eight nights boarding. Lucy sent texts & pic's showing doggy fun and personal attention. They couldn't have done a better job than letting me know that her young dog is really having fun with my dog. Lucy expressed that Uddah Lotte likes us too (the humans). She absolutely used her awesome skills at making our separation period worry free. LOL Impressive as my doggy went out a city dog and came home a cattle dog. My doggy & I, started out in a pack of seven dogs with horses, etc., on three acres of North Umpqua riverfront. Since leaving my niece's spread we've been in the City of Eugene about a year...so when I mention "came home a cattle dog" I dearly love that a ranch experience is the type of outdoor care they provided. Both of them (the human couple) are adorable & they expressed joyfulness over their successful work that was performed when boarding Uddah Lotte. I would give Lucy (them) A HUNDRED STARS, but I think the stars rating scale stops at five star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you, Sheri & Uddah Lotte Gratefully just thank you Lucy
Lucy was great. My dog is older and has more needs and Lucy took great care of her and kept me updated the whole time. She was even very flexible with the fact I had to drop off my dog early and pick her up pretty late.
Lucy did a great job watching our two dogs. They came back happy and healthy and she was very kind and easy going during their stay.
Lucy took great care of our dog. Sent pictures and video to keep us up to date on her adventures on the Ranch. We will be using Lucy again in the future.
Lucy is so very kind, and flexible. Our dog lived his best life with her and her dogs while we were away for nearly 2 weeks. I will ABSOLUTELY use Lucy again - every time we have to board our dog! She took excellent care of him, and sent us pics and videos even without being prompted.

A typical day
My ranch has 122 acres of fenced fields with a large pond for swimming. The dogs will be walked on the property under supervision. I also have a smaller fenced back yard where dogs can spend time without constant supervision. Fetch and swimming are some of our favorite activities.
