My very friendly alaskan husky is always with me and will keep your dog company and offer great socialisation. She is a gentle, calm dog and loves to sleep. I have access to many parks and forest trails and usually take my dog for long walks during the day. I have a courtyard at the back of my flat and a fenced off grass area very close by for toilet trips. I do not have cats however there are quite a few outdoor cats in my area so if your dog dislikes cats it may not be the environment for them. My dog is fed twice a day but is tame with food - she will not bother your dog while they eat.

Information Lucy A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know how your dog is with other dogs, how they are on and off lead, and what behaviour to expect on walks. Also, what behaviour to expect inside the house (e.g. howling, sleeps a lot/little, house trained). Any medication, allergies, or conditions should be mentioned. Feeding instructions and times would be great too.
A typical day
Usually I take my dog for a smaller walk in the morning, feed, and then take her for a larger walk in the afternoon. I have an area nearby for toilet trips when she needs them. My dog is older so this is enough to wear her out, she doesn’t have much interest in toys but my parent’s dog would chase a ball forever!

Pet care experience
A peaceful second home for your dog! My husky and I are both very relaxed, easy going and friendly company for your dog while you’re away. I have access to the Peak District, and a few local parks for walks, and can drive for pick up and drop off if necessary. I have looked after a variety of dogs with different energy levels so will adapt to what your dog needs, and will only take one dog at a time to ensure the best care possible!
Reviews

Lucy was brilliant with our Labradoodle Maisie for a short 3 night stay. Maisie recently lost her big sister so hasn’t been used to being an “only dog” so Lucy’s beautiful husky Indy, was great company for her. Lucy sent regular updates and pics/ videos showing how much fun Maisie was having on her walks and also how settled she was in their home environment. I would highly recommend Lucy and will definitely be asking her to look after Maisie again soon!
Lucy A is a real animal lover, she's kind and caring and very reliable and trustworthy. Lucy looked after our dog, cats and horses while we were on holiday, with constant updates. It was such a relief to be able to let our animals stay in their own home environment and Lucy took all the stress away. I can highly recommend using Lucy to dog and house sit.
