Welcome to the McPhee dog retreat!
I may (or may not) be known as the crazy dog lady to anyone who knows me . I'm ok with that! I have had dogs most of my life. I feel like a house isn't a home without one. I currently have a 3 year old Pyrenees cross tri-pod rescue and two yorkies 11 and 3. My dogs are very tolerant, well socialized and friendly. They are used to all kind of dogs coming to visit as I have been a foster dog mom for 2 local dog rescues for just about 3 years. We have whelped 3 litters and had over 100 pups/dogs through our home in that time. It is one of the most amazing and rewarding things I have ever done. We are located 21 km SE of Red Deer on an 1/4 section. We have tonnes of open space for your animals to explore. If you are looking for a place where your dog will be treated like family, this is the place! I am currently home full time so there would be minimal times when your dogs is not supervised.

Louise & Tyler we’re warm and welcoming to make Bugsy feel at home as he was a bit nervous meeting his new friends. I’m sure he had a great time, and a walk and came home tired. I was at ease leaving Bugsy and will use their services again.
I have known Louise all my life and she has always been an animal lover. Over the past few years she has offered up her home to many rescue dogs along with pups ( most of whom she assisted in their births). She has an amazing patience and connection with animals. I would not hesitate in sending my beloved dog to her, knowing they are in safe and loving hands. There isn't a better feeling when you are away from home, feeling assured that your "Fur Family Members" are happy as well.

I am currently home full time. I walk my dogs on the property at least once a day. We have a variety of terrain for your dogs to explore.

I always treat my visitor dogs like family. We have been trusted with hundreds of dogs over the years and have never had any issues.

My dogs and I walk everyday. Our favorite place is 3-mile bend but do go to the Oxbows dog park once in a while. My Yorkie Ben loves to play fetch with his tiny ball so we usually hang out in the yard and play, or in the basement if it is too cold.
