I work from home. I love to walk in all weathers and am able to schedule in as many walks as your dogs would enjoy. I’m generally home in the evenings so can fit around their meal times too.

Safety, trust & environment
I check on all aspects of diet and daily care, especially with picky eaters or older pets who struggle with appetite. I am very conscientious around safety when walking, and if ever transporting an animal in my car. I have no issues with heavy lifting so if this is necessary to support an older dog into areas of the house they need to go, it’s not a problem. I like a tidy, calm, environment so your animals won’t feel unsettled while you’re away. You provide a room for me, but I bring my own food. I’m happy to take in parcels for you, put the bins out, etc.
Information Louise T. would like to know about your pet
When I first visit before confirming a booking I like to know where your dog is allowed to go in the house, favourite toys, any things that scare them, if they’re picky eaters needing warm water in their food or company/encouragement to eat, and any treats or favourite rewards. If your dog pulls on their lead, I am happy to lead train them, and suggest they have a harness in this case to avoid health issues.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs on their favourites routes (they usually lead the way) when first watching them so they feel settled, but for longer sittings I will take them on a variety of walks, and anywhere we can play fetch safely. At home I will play with them and give them a brush or scratch while we’re relaxing.

Pet care experience
I love caring for cats and dogs. This includes puppies, older dogs with special dietary requirements, walking several dogs at once, and caring for some who have a tendency to try to chase small fluffy things…! When checking in on outdoor cats, I will come back at different times of day to try to find them home and spend a little time giving them attention, and to ensure they eat. I’ve cared for puppies in house training. You’ll see from one of my photos I’ve even made bespoke outfits for friends’ doggos!

Reviews

Louise was great with our dog Ruby! She was keen to put in place all the things we'd normally do to make sure she felt comfortable when we were out. Great communication too. Would definitely ask her to look after our dog again...
Louise was amazing looking after our Beagle. He loved her from the first time he met her and we felt so happy that he was looked after in his own home. We’ve never used this service before so were a little nervous beforehand but Louise made us feel very comfortable and it was amazing knowing that our home and dog were both being looked after so well. Thanks Louise!
We were delighted to have Louise to look after our elderly dog, Buddy . She's a kind and compassionate person and kept in touch with us whilst we were away with messages and photos, which were very much appreciated.

After sifting through the numerous profiles in the app and mulling over them, I decided Louise would be the best fit to look after our 12 year old JRT, Brutus. Our little man needed someone to sit in with him while my husband and I had our wedding. He tends to howl when left alone even for 10 minutes. He doesn't do this when someone has been with him in the past but tends to keep to himself tucked away under the duvet in the bedroom. Louise agreed to sit with him all day and night the keep him company after an initial visit toeet him. Within a minute or so, Brutus was happy for Louise to stroke him. In fact he couldn't get enough. On the day, we were busy getting ready when Louise initially walked in. However, Brutus was happy to get attention from Louise. This was a good sign. We left feeling extremely comfortable leaving Brutus with Louise though I didn't expect him to stick around and do his usual hidi g under the duvet. However, Louise sent several pictures of him chilling next to her and on his walks. This was a pleasant surprise to see as he doesn't do this when he has been left with people he knows. My husband, who never met Louise previously, said Louise seems to be getting on with Brutus better than anyone else before we left him with her. I can't thank Louise enough for keeping Brutus company. She was definitely the best person for the job. Should we ever need a dog sitter in future, I would without a doubt be using Louise as she was absolutely amazing.
