We have been taking care of fur babies ever since we children. My parents (Liz) have always had dogs! And so has my husband’s parents. So we grew up with lots of fur brothers and sisters. My parents (Liz) have rescued lots of dogs they currently have 8 dogs (all rescues) they are all vaccinated, spayed/neutered and really spoiled with treats, toys and a fenced in yard the two little ones live inside. They thought me to love and care for animals. Now as an adult living in my own household I took the same love for animals. My fur baby Lennox is also a rescue. My husband also grew up loving animals and his parents also thought him the same love and respect for dogs and animals of all kind. To us dogs are not just pets, they are family. My husband and I work from home. So your fur babies will always have our attention. We have combined experience from taking care of puppies to elderly dogs. Including special needs and those needing special attention. We also have volunteered at dog shelters and rescue organizations. We have an elderly fur baby that has the energy of a puppy. He is great with other dogs and is excited to have many more doggy friends! We promise to love your fur baby like our own.

Liz and Joshua took excellent care of Louie! We had a great meet and greet so that Louie could get familiar with the environment and their adorable dog Lennox. Liz and Josh were very attentive and checked in with me regularly sending pictures and videos showing that Louie was comfortable and having a great time in their care. This will definitely be Louie’s home away from home when I am away!
If I can give Lizet and Joshua a 10 star I would!!! I was a little skeptical at first of using Rover because I’ve never used it to leave my furbaby Penny overnight. But I’m glad I did and that Lizet and Joshua watched her. They texted me every morning and every night with pictures of Penny and kept me up to date with how she was during the day. They treated her like she was theirs. I am 100% going to use them in the future! They’re great people and I’m so glad I found them.

Schedule
My husband works from home full time and I have a hybrid work from home schedule, but for the most part I work from home too. Your fur baby will have lots of attention from both of us! We will incorporate walks during our breaks and lunch period. We recently bought and moved into a house and have beautiful walking trails in our community. We also now have 3 spare bedrooms that we will use as a dog suite so your fur baby can eat there and take naps in case he or she needs their own space.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a privacy fenced backyard however we won’t leave them in the backyard unattended. If they’re in the backyard one of us or both of us will be out there with them. We also have our furbaby so yours will have a buddy to play with. Every time we doggy sit we are very careful to insure that fur baby’s don’t storm out the front door. We will always walk your fur baby on a leash for everyone’s safety. No exceptions. When we walk our own fur baby we use extra protection to insure safety. So we will do the same for yours. I will also provide you with pictures and videos of your fur baby daily at your preference. I am very quick at replying to messages and answering calls. We feed the dogs in separate rooms so they won’t eat together. We always ensure that after they are done we pick up their bowls and clean them and not leave them around. We only leave the water bowl out. We don’t give our dog bones so there won’t be any bones laying around for anyone to argue over. When we have to leave out we don’t leave the dogs together even if none of them are aggressive. Unless they are from the same household. To ensure safety we leave them in separate rooms with a TV on or relaxing dog music and of course their water bowl. If they are crate trained then we can leave them in their crate.We also have a pet first aid kit.

A typical day
We love to engage with your fur baby in a fun and playful environment. We will play games and so much cuddle time. We will also go on adventures looking for new smells close to and around our home. We like taking our fur baby to the walking trail in our community and if it’s ok with you then your fur baby can come along too. Your fur baby might even get a pup cup if it’s ok with you.
