Hello and thank you for viewing my profile! As someone who grew up with a dog and now a direct "parent" to several of my own, I know how stressful it can be when planning time away. You worry about them - Who can I trust to watch them? Will they be taken care of properly? Will they be kind and loving to my pup? As a parent to 2 dogs (plus 1 in heaven) and 2 cats (plus 2 in heaven), I know exactly how you feel and I would do nothing but take the best care of your pup while you're away. I have done dog sitting many times for friends, family, and through dog sitting sites similar to Rover. I live in a single family home that I keep very clean. I have a fenced in yard with artificial turf, patio space and a large double pergola. I do kennel my dogs as they are still young and trouble makers. I will crate your pup only when I leave (it’s rare and I work from home full-time) and at night (I do keep the crates in my bedroom so I can be in constant view of them - I only crate because my dogs will want to play all night). When I’m gone, I keep cameras on the crates and check frequently. Your pup must be cat friendly or have a low prey drive. Your pet must be house trained. A meeting prior to boarding is required to ensure our pups get along. A prior meeting is not necessary for cats. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions! I work from home 100% and keep gates up so the dogs remain in my line of site. I don’t travel much and when I leave my home it’s for short periods of time. I treat them the same as I do my own dogs. I allow cats to have their space and with 5 extra bedrooms they will have plenty of space to be in peace.
