I currently work as a gardener at Biltmore Estate, and so am free on weekends and on weekdays after 4 pm! My schedule is pretty consistent, but I do work one weekend every 8 weeks or so and have the following Monday/Tuesday off.

I am comfortable with cameras in home, and love taking pictures of your pets to share! On walks, I am comfortable using a variety of leash lengths and stay vigilant to avoid any triggers that may come up on walks, such as other dogs, cars, etc. I am comfortable and willing to adapt to the way you care for and walk your pet, so the meet and greet is a great opportunity to get to know your pet's care needs. I carry treats of my own, but always check in on allergies or diet first before giving treats out! I would consider myself strong and physically fit, so I can keep up with energetic and strong dogs, and am skilled at working with dogs that pull.

I do not use pronged collars, so if that is something your dog uses I will need a second option. Let me know about any allergies as well, as I will bring my own treats if it is approved by the owner!

I truly enjoy bonding with animals, and am very active so love to give pets exercise in anyway possible. I am open to walking in a neighborhood, finding a trail to explore with your pet, or just playing and burning off energy in the backyard.

Hello! My name is Lindsey. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, and have previously worked with a professional pet sitting company here in Asheville. Before then, I did a combination of pet-sitting and nannying for local families and pet-sitting while attending college. I am Pet CPR/First-Aid Certified, and have experience in medication administration including injecting insulin and subcutaneous fluids, applying topical treatment, and pill administration. I have worked with a variety of animals including cats and dogs, reptiles such as snakes and geckos, parrots, chickens, and have experience with a variety of other farm animals. I am comfortable with animals at any age, from young puppies and kittens to seniors. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and being outside. I am an avid runner on both the trail and the road, and also enjoy hiking and yoga. I love discovering new breweries and parks in the area to read and enjoy the sunshine. I have two cats of my own named Linus and Lucy, who I found as kittens in a barn in Wisconsin in 2020! I am excited to meet you and your pets, and look forward to our time together!

Lindsey has walked my dogs regularly twice a week for several months. My dogs can be reactive but she has handled them very well. She is always punctual, very trustworthy and communicative. She takes them to fun hikes in different places to keep them interested and they like going with her. I highly recommend her!
Lindsey goes above and beyond for her clients! I need not worry at all while traveling because I know my cats are in good hands with her. She provides detailed updates, is thorough with her care, and prioritizes the wellbeing of the animals above all else. My cats are not the most outgoing, they all quickly warmed up to Lindsey and were able to relax and play :) Lindsey also does all the little things like taking care of things around the house while you are away. Cannot reccomend her enough!
Lindsey regularly takes care of our energetic hound/pit mix and our elderly beagle. She does plenty of walks and house sits with them when we’re away. She is trustworthy and easy to communicate with and our pups love her.
