I’m currently a full-time student at Texas Christian University and will be graduating in May, so my schedule will be even more flexible going into the summer. Right now, I’m available for morning and evening visits, and I do my best to be as accommodating as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to follow any routines or instructions you provide so your pet can stay on their normal schedule and feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. In your home, I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a safe environment, and given plenty of attention. I’m careful with things like doors, gates, and leashes to make sure your pet stays secure at all times. I’m also very mindful of each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means giving a puppy extra patience and structure or making sure a more relaxed or senior pet feels calm and cared for. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want you to feel completely confident they’re in good hands.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible about their routine, personality, and any specific needs. Things like feeding schedules, walk routines, favorite toys, and any behaviors or quirks are always helpful so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. I also like to know if your pet has any medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as how they do around other people or animals. If there are any triggers, fears, or things to avoid, I always make sure to keep those in mind. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can match your pet’s routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I like to start with a walk or some playtime to get their energy out, followed by feeding and making sure they always have fresh water. Throughout the day, I make time for walks, play, and lots of attention depending on your pet’s energy level. I also love learning what your pet enjoys most, whether that’s their favorite toy, a game they love, or just extra cuddle time, so they feel as comfortable and happy as possible. For more active dogs, that might mean longer walks or extra playtime, while more relaxed or older pets can enjoy a calmer, slower-paced day. I always try to stick closely to any schedule or instructions you provide so your pet feels right at home. At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and has had a fun, positive day.

Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two dogs of my own, a puppy and a 2-year-old, so I’m very comfortable with different ages, energy levels, and personalities. I’ve helped raise and train my own dogs, so I have experience with puppies, including basic routines, consistency, and lots of patience during those early stages. I’ve also cared for senior dogs in the past, so I understand the extra attention, gentleness, and care they may need. I love all types of dogs, from big, high-energy breeds to smaller, more laid-back ones. I’m definitely the type of person who will stop and ask to pet your dog, so spending time with them never feels like a job to me. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just hanging out and giving them lots of attention, I’m happy to match your dog’s vibe. I also have some experience caring for cats and would be happy to help with them as well!
