I’ve had the joy and experience of owning and caring for dogs just about my entire life. I’m an animal lover who has also owned and cared for turtles and birds. I have bred Labrador Retrievers, Pekingese’s, and Cairn Terrier’s which has given me the experience and joy of caring for pregnant dogs and litters of puppies. I am presently retired from my long career in law enforcement and nursing. I was a Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy for several years and a Correctional Peace Officer with the California Dept. Of Corrections. Now that I am retired, I can do something that I love and that I have a natural talent for......Taking care of doggies!

I have a big house In a very good neighborhood located about 3 miles off of the 101 freeway. I keep my yard, crates, and dog houses very clean and safe. I keep the dog water buckets filled with clean water. My location is very convenient for North or Southbound travelers. I have a very big backyard and big side yards. I have a separate and spacious enclosed dog run area. I have many dog crates and dog houses. I have lots of love and doggie treats. I am about 3 miles from the ocean and am able to take dogs to the beach if that’s what they love. I have a big den and very comfortable couches that I cover with blankets during the evening and watch television with my Labrador Retrievers. We make awesome fires in our fireplace on cold nights

I would HIGHLY recommend Lala for dog sitting. She is absolultely wonderful with dogs. She loves them and takes amazing care of them. I purchased a puppy from one of her liters and was blown away at the care, attention and love she gave to the 10 puppies while they were in her care.
Lela is such an amazing dog caregiver, dog owner and dog lover. She watched by dog for weeks nothing but pure love. She is patient, professional, hardworking, knows how to connect with dogs of all personalities, is super friendly but most of all genuine from top to bottom. I will bring my dog back to her because I know I don't have to worry about anything and can enjoy my vacation or whatever activity or event I have to go to. She is selfless and will put the needs of your dog before her own; treat and care for your dog as if it were hers. She is great at texting and is super open with communication! She will send pictures, updates, suggestions, whatever you need to make you feel comfortable etc. If youre looking for someone to watch your furry friend, she is most definitely the one and I guarantee you will be happy you made that decision. Schedule
I am available seven days a week. I can board dogs overnight or take care of them during other time frames. I can do short or long term stays. I am flexible with my availability.
