Let me know how your pet likes to be approached, what kind of training commands they're familiar with any special care needs needs, such as medication. I am happy to do meet-and-greets, especially with shy or temperamental animals.

I grew up with both cats and dogs and have a strong understanding of animal body language and positive reinforcement (R+) training. I spent nearly a decade volunteering with a cat rescue, working with personalities ranging from rambunctious lovers to feral scaredies, but my favorites were always the shy kitties that needed a little bit of extra attention to feel safe. I also have experience dogsitting and caring for dogs with a range of energy levels and temperaments. At home, I live with a nervous, high-energy 5-year-old dog, so I’m especially comfortable supporting pets who need structure, calm handling, and a bit of extra understanding.
