I’m available for pet care visits on Wednesday & Thursday mornings as well as evenings, Friday afternoon-evening, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available on major holidays. Mondays and Tuesdays are on a case-by-case basis.

I am very safety conscious and will care for your pets as carefully as I would my own. I will follow whatever your normal household routine is so that your pets feel safe and comfortable. They thrive with routines! If they use a crate, need treats after potty breaks, want belly rubs after a meal, etc., I am there for it all!

Please let me know in advance of any special needs your pup has, or any behavioral quirks that I should be aware of, especially when taking them out for a walk. If they don’t like other dogs, or are scared of anything in the environment, like fire engines, thunder, etc., please let me know so I can be prepared to ensure our time together is nothing short of fun.
A typical day
Dogs need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, so I will tailor their daily activities based on their age and energy level. Playing with toys, practicing obedience exercises, and going on a nice walk with lots of sniff time are examples of how we will spend our time together. Of course cuddles and belly rubs are acceptable too!

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds & sizes over the years. I am comfortable with puppies through senior age. Friends, family and clients have relied on me to feed, walk, play with, clean up after, and love their pups as if they were my own. I can administer medications, including injections, and sq fluids. I can practice obedience skills during my visits as well.

Leigh Ann was terrific as a house sitter + dog sitter + cat sitter. She took great care of my three pets. She feed them, walked them, brushed them, played with them (you get the picture!). And she sent me towards the end of each day wonderful pictures of the kids that are so great they are going into the permanent file. I highly recommend Leigh Ann.
Leigh Ann was an absolutely fabulous pet sitter! Not only was she available with fairly short notice, she spent extra time with our pets to make sure they were comfortable with her. She walked our dog when she only needed to let him out back, she checked on the cats multiple times each day when she only needed to check on them once a day, and she thoroughly cleaned up their accidents in the house when she didn’t have to. It was great to find someone so responsible with our pets. We will definitely be using Leigh Ann’s services again!
