It is crucial you provide all the necessary steps to care for any senior or special needs animals you have. I will not be able to provide sufficient care to your animals if you don’t do the following: 1. Comprehensive Medical & Health Details: Veterinarian Info: Name, clinic, emergency contacts (especially for exotic/specialists). Medications: Dosage, schedule, administration method (with instructions/practice). Health History: Conditions, allergies, past issues, vaccination records. Signs of Illness: Specific symptoms to watch for (e.g., changes in droppings, hiding, appetite shifts). 2. Habitat & Environment: Comfort Modifications: Soft bedding, ramps, etc for senior animals 3. Diet & Feeding: Specific Diet Plan: Exact food, quantities, feeding times, treats. Water Source: Fresh, clean, filtered, or specific water type. Supplements: Vitamins, calcium, or other necessary additives. 4. Routine & Behavior: Daily Schedule: Feeding, exercise, playtime, quiet time. Enrichment: Specific toys, puzzles, mental stimulation, handling preferences (avoiding stressors). Behavioral Cues: Body language, triggers, calming techniques. 5. Emergency Preparedness: Emergency Vet Plan: Closest exotic/emergency vet, transport details. Evacuation Plan: Where to go, what to take (food, meds, carrier). Key Contacts: Owner's contact, backup emergency contacts. 6. Documentation: Written Care Guide: A detailed, printed guide is essential, as verbal instructions can be missed. Pet's Identification: Microchip info, tags, registration details. This honestly goes for all the clients I serve but I want emphasize the importance of this for SPECIAL NEEDS or SENIOR animals. If you do not fit in this criteria I do not expect you to do this entire list but knowing the basics of your animals care will provide me enough information to meet your needs.

I love playing with animals and exercising them with walks. I’ve walked cats before but I find it hard to actually train a cat to walk. I’ve only walked cats trained by others to so. I love snuggling with the animals and chit chatting with them to make them feel included. I really enjoy doing puzzle games with dogs and cats! The mental stimulation to get that treat is really good for them. I love playing hide and seek treat games that challenge dogs and cats to be stimulated mentally and physically, harnessing their natural scent and hunting skills. Frozen treats are so much fun for me to give my own animals and the animals I serve. Real bonding experience that allows for them to get a tasty snack!

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Hi! I'm LeeAnn, a person and pet care giver since the age of nine! My care services offer comfort in every aspect possible. If your pet is uncomfortable I am uncomfortable. I'm here to care for your fur babies not just as your pet but as the unique individual being they are and meet them where they're at. With analytical and de-escalation skills obtained through work in behavior analysis along with my genuine companionship experience through direct care occupations your pet will have sincere, quality care from an experienced individual. Just as I did with my human clients, I will not just try I will do whatever is best for your pet. I have CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention certifications. I am in the GoodPupip Pet Care Now Training so I can understand canine behavior and develop a pathway for part-time dog training. I also plan to find resources for feline behavior and understanding. Let's do a meet and greet to see if my services and experience aligns with your pet care needs! I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones.

Reseñas

LeeAnn was great! Our Daisy loved her so much and we felt so good having her watch her when we were out of town. LeeAnn went over and above to make sure all the little details were covered and that she provided the best care. She was consistent and arrived on time each visit. Thanks!! Will book again for our next trip.
