Lee can care for
Availability
I’ve recently relocated to The Hague, so for the next few months I’m very flexible and available. I can adapt to your dog’s routine—early mornings, midday drop-ins, longer afternoon walks, and evening visits, plus weekend care. I’m happy to work around feeding times, medication schedules, school/work pickups, and whatever helps your dog stay consistent and settled.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m calm, safety-first, and very adaptable to what each dog needs to feel secure. Before we start, I’ll ask about routine, triggers, leash habits, recall, reactivity, health issues, and vet/emergency contacts—then I’ll follow your instructions closely. I use secure harness/leash handling, keep doors/gates double-checked, and avoid risky situations (busy off-leash areas or unknown-dog interactions) unless you explicitly want them. In your home, I keep things predictable and respectful: tidy space, clear boundaries, no unapproved treats, and I stick to your dog’s normal walk routes, sleep setup, and house rules. For energetic dogs, I add structure and enrichment (sniff walks, simple games, calm settling). For older or sensitive dogs, I prioritise gentle pacing, comfort, and low-stress handling. You’ll get regular photo updates and clear notes so you always know how things are going.
Information Lee F. would like to know about your pet
Before I care for your dog, I like to know: • Routine: usual walk times/length, feeding schedule, where they sleep, time alone tolerance • Health: allergies, meds (dose + timing), mobility limits, recent injuries, vet details, insurance (if any) • Behaviour: reactivity (dogs/people/bikes), resource guarding, separation anxiety, noise fears (fireworks), bite history (if any) • Leash & equipment: harness/collar type, pulling level, preferred cues, what to avoid, off-leash rules/recall reliability • Social preferences: dog-park yes/no, greetings style, kids/men/strangers comfort level • Home rules: couch/bed allowed, crate use, treats allowed, areas off-limits • Safety & logistics: key/entry instructions, alarms, emergency contact, preferred route/areas to avoid • What makes them happy: favourite toys, games, treats, calming strategies, any “do not do” list
A typical day
A typical day depends on your dog’s energy and routine. I’ll start with a calm walk (sniffing encouraged), then breakfast and a settle. During drop-ins I’ll do a toilet break, fresh water, a short play or enrichment game, and a relaxed check-in cuddle. For walks, I mix steady leash time with “decompression” sniff time and a little basic training. I’ll always finish with a calm-down period so they’re relaxed when I leave—plus photo updates.

Experienced Australian Pet Owner
Pet care experience
My strength is how quickly I connect with each dog and adapt to what they need—energy, confidence, routine, and boundaries. I’m a genuine “dog person”: calm, attentive, and great at reading body language, so dogs tend to settle with me fast. My background working with children (and coaching) has made me patient, consistent, and safety-focused, with clear communication and reliable routines. I’ve also travelled widely, so I’m comfortable handling new environments and keeping dogs grounded in unfamiliar situations. Bonus: I’ve raised Barry and Sukki from puppies (toilet routine, settling, basic cues, lead manners) and supported Yoshi as a senior in Australia (gentle pacing, predictable routines, comfort-first care). So whether your dog is high-energy and adventurous or an older, gentler soul, I tailor care to suit them.
Reviews

It's amazing how Lee connects with dogs! I fully recommend him if you need an experienced, trustworthy, kind person to walk your dog and have no worries in the back of your head. Thanks again Lee!
I can wholeheartedly recommend Lee as a dog sitter. He has been around dogs his entire life and truly understands their different personalities, energy levels, and needs. He has long cared for two very different dogs of his own: a four-year-old, highly energetic foxhound who gets plenty of exercise, structure, and stimulation, and an older dog he treats with great patience, attentiveness, and care. What really sets him apart is his warmth and empathy. With a background working with children and in schools, he brings a calm, responsible, and caring approach to dog care. He’s a true dog person who genuinely cares, and I would trust him without hesitation with any dog.
Lee has had dogs of his own since a very young age and is a wonderful dog carer. He has also worked in several places as a dog walker and a pet carer - either at his home or at the owner"s home as needed. His pets in care always attach to Lee almost instantly. I recommend him very highly for any role involving pet care regardless of the nature of the pet. Mary P.
