I have been pet-sitting regularly for 10+ years for a variety of clients, most of whom are returning clients of many years. At the age of 12, I started my own pet care "business" called "Paws on the Pavement" to walk neighbors' dogs--so you could say I've been doing this for a while! I have watched dogs, cats, and even chickens! I'm responsible, clean, knowledgeable about pets, and experienced with giving a variety of medications to pets. I've also worked at an animal shelter (in operations, but pet care was often involved) and do Trap/Neuter/Return for feral cats in my neighborhood.

I am available for dog sitting in your home only, as I have pets of my own who are not dog-friendly. I have dog sat for people in a variety of environments - homes with yards, apartments, etc.

Leah took such good care of our furbaby (a 1 year old cat)! She sent lots of photos and updates and asked questions whenever needed! We appreciated her communication and also felt so confident and comfortable having her stay with our little guy ?⬛? we’ve already rebooked her!!
Leah is very responsible, punctual and flexible. One of my dogs will eat anything and her alertness kept Francine from eating a bee! I am confident that my dogs are safe when in her care.
Leah was great with my dog as a dog walker. One day, my dog got into the kitchen and made a mess with chips. She was kind enough to clean the mess up for me.
My dog loves Leah's visits. She is great with him, takes pictures and plays with him!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule right now as I'm currently job hunting for my next professional role. I typically dog sit overnight, though I'm also available for drop-in visits and walks.
