Information Lauren S. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preference. I would just need to know if your dog needs to be approached in a certain way or if they startle easily. Any special instructions on behavior would be good to know in advance so I don’t do anything to make them feel uncomfortable around me!
A typical day
I grew up in Ames so I know the area well and would be happy to take dogs on walks anywhere on different trails and safe places away from busy roads. I don’t mind dogs in my car at all if we need to drive somewhere. I would be happy to take them to the dog park if that’s where they are used to going or just play in the backyard.

Pet care experience
I love all kinds of dogs, small, large, friendly, shy or protective. I work full time but want to be able to take care of dogs as needed on weekend and would be available to do drop in visits and walks on weekdays as well! I have lived with a dog since the day I was born and have two of my own now. I will take care of all dogs the way I would my own. If I were away for any period of time I would want someone who plays with my dogs and gives them just as much love and attention as I would if I were home. I have been around large and small dogs and dogs that have been recently out of a shelter and are more protective or startled easily. I have worked with young and older dogs and a handicap dog. I would want someone trustworthy to watch my dogs if I were gone and I would be happy to provide that security for you.

Lauren did a fantastic job walking our dog. She is reliable and trustworthy. She really loves dogs and I knew that my fur baby was in good hands.
Lauren was great! This is our first time using rover & Lauren and won’t be our last. Her communication beforehand made us feel great about her coming over. The dogs were happy and everything went well.

Friendly and accommodating, if i need someone to watch my dog again and I still live in Ames, she will be my first choice.
