Calm Care + Big Fenced Yard
A calm, home-based retreat for social small and medium dogs up to 40 pounds. I’m home full-time and provide attentive supervision, frequent outdoor access, medication support, and regular photo updates in a spacious, securely fenced yard. My location near downtown Phoenix and PHX Sky Harbor makes drop-off before a flight and pickup after your return especially convenient. Multi-dog families are especially welcome, and a reduced additional-dog rate is available. Keeping siblings together can make time away from home feel more familiar and comfortable. I maintain established routines whenever possible and provide updates of the whole family. Dogs can move comfortably between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day, with room for gentle play, exploring, sunbathing, enrichment, cuddles, and quiet rest. Compatibility and safety come first, so my home is best suited to easygoing dogs who are comfortable in a shared environment. I highly encourage meet-and-greets before the first stay. Please bring your dog’s food and medications. A familiar bed or crate is welcome if it helps your dog settle; bowls and toys are provided. I recommend leaving sentimental items at home.

Great quick stop, thank you!

Lauren is awesome!! She accepted my last minute request and made me feel so comfortable and safe with leaving my babies in her care. She provided updates throughout the day and took great care of Suki and George!

Took great care of my Ellie girl

Lauren and her family are wonderful, and Tuve enjoyed his time with them! He came back home very happy.
Best dog sitter in town. Highly recommend
Lydia had a blast playing with the pups at Lauren’s. And it was great knowing she was all taken care of while we were away.

Schedule
I’m home full-time, so boarding and daycare fit naturally into my daily routine. Dogs receive attentive supervision, frequent access to our securely fenced yard, regular potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, affection, and plenty of opportunities to rest. I send photo updates so you can see how your dog is settling in and enjoying their stay. Daycare is available Monday through Friday. Standard drop-off is between 7:30–8:30 a.m., and pickup is between 5:30–7:30 p.m. Other times may be available when arranged in advance.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Safety begins with an honest compatibility assessment and, whenever possible, a meet-and-greet before the first stay. Dogs are introduced gradually and supervised during shared play. Our securely fenced yard is checked regularly, gates remain closed, and outdoor time is supervised. I follow each dog’s feeding and medication instructions carefully. Dogs can be fed separately and given their own quiet rest space when needed. Two indoor areas allow me to create a calmer setting for dogs who need a break from group activity. I maintain a clean environment with daily yard cleanup, and I know dog first aid and CPR. Pet parents receive regular photos and updates throughout the stay.
Pets
A typical day
Each day follows the dogs’ familiar routines as closely as possible. Mornings begin with a potty break and supervised yard time, followed by breakfast and a comfortable rest period. Throughout the day, dogs can enjoy gentle group play, sniffing and exploring in the fenced yard, enrichment, affection, and plenty of downtime indoors. Activity is tailored to each dog’s age, energy level, and preferences—there is no pressure to keep up with a busier group. Walks are offered when appropriate and agreed upon in advance. Evenings are calm, with dinner, final potty breaks, cuddles, and time to settle. I send regular photos so families can see how their dogs are doing.
