During the summer I will be mostly available during the week. I am currently a full time master’s student and will be able to fit pet care into my schedule both during the week and on the weekends. I do work most afternoons beginning at 2:30 pm but times are adjustable.

I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am an active person in a very safe neighborhood in Raleigh making neighborhood walks super easy. Walks will be easy to take and I will ensure both indoor and outdoor playtime. I do have roommates but they also love animals and work during the day most days.

I would like to know any special accommodations that your dog may need whether it’s medication, age restrictions, allergies, or reactivity towards other animals they may come in contact with if on walks.
A typical day
I will do any fun activities that the dog loves whether it be walks, running outside, or throwing a ball. Walks can be in the neighborhood or any local trails and dog parks.

Pet care experience
I have always cared for animals both in my family as well as with friends and neighbors for approximately 13 years. I am an NC State graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science with a lot of knowledge to bring including the best ways to care for your animal, ensure their safety, and even train new commands. Not only can I care for dogs and cats, but I can also care for rodents, birds, reptiles, etc.

Lauren M. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
This was our first time using Lauren and will NOT be our last!! She is AMAZING!! We have 3 dogs, a senior Poodle, an adult Terrier and a Feist puppy. All house dogs. We hired Lauren for a full week and she did not disappoint! She provided pictures throughout the week showing them happy and playing! In the past we've had to board them, and would always pick them up with lost weight, smelly/dirty, emotionally rattled and exhausted (probably due to lack of sleep). This year we came HOME to 3 happy, clean, and healthy dogs! She also kept our plants watered, chickens fed and the house was cleaner than we left it!! Do yourself and your pets a favor next time you go out of town....get Lauren!! Best decision EVER!
Lauren was fantastic. She was very interactive with our dog Walter and our two cats Maya and Shadow. We felt very good about leaving our home and our fur babies with her.
Lauren has cared for my puppies several times! I trust her in my home and I trust her with my dogs. She plays with them, she walks with them...she even sleeps with them like they are her own. Lauren is gentle, kind and very smart. She knows a lot about animals and even works with my stubborn little one to learn tricks. I would not use anyone else. Lauren is AMAZING and I am so grateful she is there for my puppies!!!!
