A typical day
If possible I prefer to walk dogs in nature rather than on the street. I will look for green spaces in any case. If the dog is sociable and there are dog parks around, I will take her or him there. I like a good playtime too!

Pet care experience
14+ years of experience with pet-sitting (mostly dogs but also cats, rabbits and farm animals). Grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and started dog-boarding at my parents' place as a teenager. I volunteered in an animal shelter for 6 months which has enabled me to take care of dogs with various profiles (e.g. traumatized dogs who mistrust, aggressive ones, scared ones...). Besides I am tall and fit and can take on the most energetic dogs for walks! I have a part-time job and can work remotely whenever I want to which gives me a unique flexibility (time- and place-wise). If I'm staying at your place, it is totally okay for me to take out your dog for a walk every 2,5h or to take some 10min playtime. I am careful about closing doors and fences to prevent the dog from escaping. When I am home-sitting, I am always near the dog and if I have to go away (e.g. for grocery shopping), I will try to make it as short as possible. I keep potentially toxic substances out of reach e.g. chocolate or cleaning products

Laura is vriendelijk en geeft updates over hoe het met onze hond Billy gaat! Ze is daarnaast ook goed omgegaan met ons huis en heeft alles netjes achtergelaten. We zouden haar zeker opnieuw boeken! (:
Laura is a very dependable sitter for my dog Charlie. She's invested in Charlie's well-being and remarkably attentive to changes in her behavior and health. Every time she takes care of my dog I get sent pictures and short video's which show them having fun on their walks, which gives me absolute peace of mind. Other than that Laura's a fun and easy going person and when I look at Charlie's response to her I can only conclude that Laura has the right vibe for her to feel safe and happy. 12/10 would recommend!
Laura is ervaren met (grote) honden, lief, flexibel, betrouwbaar en sportief- maakt lange wandelingen en zorgt ervoor dat onze hond tevreden en lekker moe gespeeld zijn mandje in kan. Reageert snel op berichten en houdt zich aan afspraken. We kregen zelfs foto's van de spelende hond tijdens hun rondje... Fijn contact!
