We have been pet sitters for a very long time and sit for small dogs only. We believe there is a need for a comfortable quiet environment for small dogs that will not scare or intimidate your baby with the noise or size of other animals. We want our own dogs to stay in a place “just like home” and we we are determined to offer you peace of mind and a safe, happy home in your absence, for your babies! Our love of animals spans many years. We have loved and cared for hamsters to horses and everything in between. We love every animal but our hearts, especially belong to dogs. Our lives are rooted in the care of animals and all of them make our life rich. We are retired and have plenty of time to spend with your pet in your absence. We chose to sit a small number of dogs vs. many. By caring for a smaller number of pets this makes us unique, in that we are exclusive in offering your pet more individualized attention. Our attention to quality of care, rather than quantity of dogs, sets us apart. Although we love all dogs of all shapes and sizes we choose to care for smaller pets. Again, we are unique in this decision. We find deep joy and satisfaction in caring for those that need us. This includes the pet parents that need our help as well! We want to alleviate your worries. We want you to know that your precious pets are receiving the best possible care. Through the years, we’ve taken care of the pets of many pet parents. We are the ones they call upon if their pets need a safe, loving home in which to stay. We have two Shih Tzu pups of our own and both of our dogs are very well socialized with others. We do have experience in caring for dogs with chronic conditions who are in need of more attention. We have experience in giving meds, injections, subcutaneous I.V.s and special cooked food combinations, We can bring comfort and care to these very special pets as well. We offer a non-smoking, warm, safe and nurturing home. We do live a slower paced, quieter lifestyle. If your furry family member is used to that, then we are the perfect match! However, we do have the energy and can keep up with the young, rambunctious puppies as well! We also, have experience with the aged dogs that just needs a little peace and quiet. In the evening we love to snuggle and watch tv or sit and be entertained by the playful antics of our pet visitors while they play chase on the rug below our feet. We will talk to them, spend time with them and treat them with the same respect and care with which we treat our own. Our standard way to care for pets is to allow them the freedom to live in our home as we do and as our own pets do. We kindly ask that you take advantage of our Meet and Greet before your pet’s stay so that you can get a feel for the environment that your pet will be staying in. We want your pet to get a feel for our home too. Sitting for dogs is our only job. Therefore, when your pet is with us they are given top priority. We cannot express enough the level of importance we place on this job and on your pet. We have a clean, fenced yard for your dog to run and play in. Our home is a clean, fresh environment, free of things that a curious pet could get into. We have a beautiful walking trail right in the neighborhood to exercise your dog and we can do so if you wish. Dogs we care for tend to love our large variety of toys. They also, love to chill on the big fluffy pillows we offer them or kick back and watch t.v. in our laps on our big spacious sofa. Your dogs are home with us and where we go, they follow.
