I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and consistent. Whether that means sticking to a detailed routine, taking a leisurely sniffari, playing their favorite game, or simply existing in the same room while your cat judges me from a safe distance, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages because I know I’d want the same if I were leaving my own pet in someone else’s care. Fair warning: I may become emotionally invested in your pet 🐶🐱🐾.

Some pets want an adventure, while others are happiest hanging out with a friend and sticking to their usual routine. I try to follow each pet’s lead and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Hi, I’m Kyna! I’m the proud human of Maple, my Bernese Mountain Dog, which means I’m very familiar with dog hair, muddy paws, dramatic sighs, and dogs who occasionally refuse to walk because a leaf looked suspicious. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. They’re family, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. By day, I work in education and behavior support, so patience, consistency, and attention to detail are second nature to me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and what helps them feel comfortable and happy. In addition to caring for my own dog, I have experience looking after the pets of family and friends, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and care needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, slow sniff walks, playtime, or just some company, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and keeping routines consistent. You’ll receive updates and photos because I know I’d want them too. I have experience with large dogs, senior dogs, shy dogs, energetic dogs, and dogs who are absolutely convinced they’re lap dogs. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members!🐶
