Active&Caring&Energetic Pet Sitter

I adore animals and worked for Banfield Pet Hospital for 18 months. I was a pet nurse in training for the first 2 months I was there and truly enjoyed my job. I have owned several dogs since I was a child. My pup child is a 70 pound mix bread. He adores other dogs and dog play dates. I thought this was a wonderful way to have fun with my boy and (the loved ones) of other proud dog owners! I'd love to help you out with anything you may need; walking, boarding, play dates and house visits. I am available everyday - especially holidays! I am physically able to take care of your wonderful dog(s) while you are away for one day or weeks at a time. I am back! I was on an extended break due to traveling and focusing on buying my own home. My fiancé and I found our first incredible home in Benson, NC. We just decided to get a second dog. He is a mini golden named Theodore “Theo” for short. He is only 6 months old but loves all other dogs and loves to play. He is also neutered. I work from home during the week so my schedule is free to take in your pup whenever you need me to. I have no children. A little about our schedule… Theo wakes me up at 7am usually licking my face and we begin our day outside for a potty break. We play with his favorite toy “a dog soccer ball” while my adult pup lays in the shade or rolls on the grass. 7:30 am is feed time. My work schedule is weekdays 8-4. During the day the pups get walked every two hours in our fenced yard. I like to go outside with them and water plants or pick up poo (oh the fun - haha). When my fiancé gets home we go on a walk around the neighborhood. We provide exercise as needed, if you have an energetic dog, or if you have an older dog like my Isaac he will sometimes stay home and rest. He likes his space when he is not getting good sleep at night. I like to think I pick up on these things easily so that your dog is as happy as he/she can be while in our stay!!! Evenings call for obedience lessens, for treats, or doggy lesson games. We started getting these for our puppy and he loves them. They are basically board games for dogs!

Hands down the best pet sitter I've had in three years! My pups adore her and she spends extra time making sure they're taken care of. This included measuring out water for my 3 month old puppy and assisting with crate training. She even vacuumed one day when the pups tracked in some loose grass!

Kristina is an angel in disguise. I went into labor and needed someone to watch my little guy at the last minute. She did not hesitate to swoop in and come to my rescue. She provided regular updates on my dogs well being as well as pics of him to reassure me of his health during my hospital stay. When i needed to extend her services, she was able to work with me and was beyond helpful with helping me reintegrate my dog back into my home. I would recommend Kris to any dog lover who appreciates a care giver who treats your 4-legged friend JUST AS if not BETTER than you do. Thanks again Kris. Youre one in a million.

Kristina has been amazing to my puppies and takes the extra steps necessary to ensure my 3 month old learns potty/crate training. She shifts her timeline to accommodate my work schedule and I will continue employing her in the future!

Kristina meet me on short notice and adjusted her schedule to drop in on my two pups. She's now my go to person for dog walking and drop in visits because of how well she took care of my 3 month old puppy and his older brother! Her updates are detailed and gives me peace of mind while I'm at work. I will definitely continue to hire her!

My home is fenced in but we do like to provide walks if your dog is ok with that. Our neighborhood is very kind and we have a lot of dog owners who are respectful and keep their dogs on a leash.

Pets

A typical day

We like to play pup soccer, games, and obedience lessons with small treats as a reward. I also have several toys that help relieve hyper dogs in case I have meetings during the day. Licking mats, kongs, suction chew toys, safe bones depending on what you approve of.

I have experience with several different dog personalities due to my background as a vet tech. My Isaac is a rescue dog and used to be very shy towards people. Shy, Senior, or even oral medication that may be need I can help with. Isaac takes oral medication for his anxiety over fireworks, gun shots, and storms. We use a thunder vest first then administer meds if needed. I would also consider Isaac my senior dog. He is coming up on 9 years old. He needs extra sleep, extra time apart from our puppy, and extra time with just mom because our puppy likes my attention a lot. We also petsit a high energetic dog frequently who is a Aussie. She needs frequent love, attention, and play to release her energy. If she does not get these things she likes to act out which is totally understandable. Then we go on night walkies - haha. Need we say bug spray (for the adults)?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
