I am a full time dog trainer and I build my schedule around my dogs. I may board up to two pups at a time. All pups that stay with me must be accustomed to playing with other pups.

My basement is a dedicated dog training facility with 2 4x6 kennels. If your pup struggles in the Kennel, and can be trusted, they can free roam in the basement at night. The household has cats and dogs, during the day the pup may hang with me in the gated in kitchen area, but will mostly be napping downstairs in between walks and play dates. I have a medium size backyard that is fenced in for the dogs to play in. On nice days the dogs like to sit out on the back porch enjoying the sun.

I need to know if your pet has ever had any issues playing with other dogs. Any fears they may have. Any body parts they don't like to be pet on. Any odd behaviors.

Adventure walks at Belle Isle on a long lead allowing for plenty of free sniffing. Long lead walks are proven to help reduce reactivity. Training sessions to work on sit/stay, recall, loose leash walking, leave it, heel etc. supervised play sessions with other pups, daycare and boarding pups will get daily bones or a long filled with frozen soft food. Lots of love and attention.

I am a Certified Dog Trainer, Pet CPR & First Aid Trained, and outdoor enthusiast. I have been a dog owner for the past 25 years. After having a few fireballs, and going through training as an owner, i decided with my next puppy, I would get trained to be the trainer. I have been certified in the LIMA (Least Invasive Minimally Aversive) method, and training pups since 2021. When your dog stays with me they will get multiple hour long walks on a long lead each day out at Belle Isle, Palmer Park or whatever trail we venture off to that day. They will work on learning or reinforcing many skills such as sit, down, stay, and leave it as well as lots and lots of recall :) They will have supervised play time with my 35lb border collie mix and 80lb Rottie mix. When you come home tired from your trip, they'll be ready to nap right along side of you!

Krista cared for our pup for a week while we were on vacation. We got daily reports of how she was doing with photos. She worked with her on many different skills. It is evident how much Krista cares about animals as well as how knowledgable she is about their care. Our dog loved her time with Krista!
