The Hardy Heart Hideaway!
Welcome to the Hardy Heart Hideaway! We cannot wait to meet and love on your furbabies! We currently have 3 dogs of our own who want to run, play, chase, and snuggle with yours! (If your dog is more of a people person, that's totally cool, too. We respect boundaries here.) As a former animal keeper of lions, tigers and other big cats, and previous educator at SeaWorld Orlando, I am passionate about all animals and their well-being; both mentally and physically. Jen has rescued and raised NUMEROUS dogs from puppy to senior, so her love of animals was the perfect match for me. Moving to a new area, we soon realized the struggle of being away from family and friends and had to rely on trustworthy Rover hosts. We'd like to pay it forward! Our fenced in back yard and dog-friendly furniture is just waiting for your baby! Come see us! Currently, I work from home and have all the time in the world to give your pet whatever type of attention they need! Jen has a flexible work schedule too, so between the two of us, your pup will never be alone. :) We have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run and/or sniff around. We also have spare rooms and extra crates and beds if someone wants some alone time. Our furniture is all dog friendly, including our bed, so we can't wait to snuggle! Daily walkies are usually in the early mornings or late evenings, weather depending and our neighborhood is super animal friendly! PS We are always updating the house; the joys of being a homeowner. So hopefully our home gets better with time for your dog's care.

Krissi and Jen did a wonderful job taking care of Asher. We were from out-of-town and didn’t get to meet them in advance, but we felt immediately comfortable with them. They communicated frequently before and during Asher’s time with them. He was so well cared for and got lots of snuggles! We will definitely ask them to care for Asher again when we are in the area.

My dogs are my entire life. I’d definitely say my world revolves around THEM. I’m here for whatever your baby needs, just communicate that with me :) I'm no stranger to animals with special needs.

Our fenced in back yard with tons of space provides a great dog park-esque feel and enrichment for all dogs. We have a removable doggy door and can lock it if necessary. Access to outside will only be open when we are home. All inside privilege is free roaming unless you tell me they need to be crated. It’s up to you :)

If your dog likes to stay home, we have a gorgeous fenced in back yard to explore! There are three gardens that attract butterflies and lots of birds so there's always wildlife to watch and chase. If your dog loves the park, Wescott Park is right down the road and we have always had great experiences there with our dogs! Daily walkies are typically early AM or later PM due to the heat, but we are very flexible for whatever your dog needs. I love playing with enrichment toys so expect constant stimulation for your baby. :)
