Hi there, My name is Kira, I am a professional pet groomer and business owner of a salon. If you're reading this I want to thank you for taking your time to do so. I hope after reading this you will get to know me a bit. Having this opportunity to be apart of your pets life is by far the best job anyone could EVER have if they are a animal lover like myself. I started training horses that were abused from the race track down south in okeechobee florida at 14 yrs old and from then on I found what truly makes me happy and passionate which is loving and caring for all animals. I have been rescuing mostly all my life. I have been volunteering for some years now and I also worked at a local vet here in Panama City. My children and I use to volunteer at our local Humane Society before closing down (after the hurricane) and it was that experience which changed my life forever. Since then I kept my self busy rescuing (right after Hurricane Michael) and I was able to keep myself busy, up until a year ago when things slowed down. Then a little over a year ago with God's grace I stumbled upon Rover and here i am now speaking to you fine people. Finding Rover.com has been a really humbling experience. I would love nothing more then to take care of your little family members (pups). I will go beyond your needs. I adjust to all needs. Rather it’s bathing and grooming, working with your pet, giving your babies tons of attention and providing lots of love and care, cleanliness and above all I assure their safety. I have a lot of experience with our older and disabled animals, medication needs. We go out every two hours and for newly puppies every hour sometimes. I love to take them everywhere with me (if able), we love long walks and adventure's and tons of fun each day, water sports, lots of frisbee and of course catch. I have almost two acres, although there isn’t a full fence, we stay on leashes most of the time. I will update you throughout the day with short videos and pictures of our day. Before the covid-19 we would go out in the community to parks and fun places to grab a treat but for now we stay mostly at home. I’m home full-time. I'm full of cuddles and lots of love!! I am experienced with all types of animals , except maybe a pet spider of course but even that couldn’t keep me from doing what's needed...😀 I’m flexible and understanding and I want to be here to help ease your mind while your away from your love one.. Kira did wonderful with our family pup! She was happy to see us when we returned, as always, but didn't feel as though she really missed us either, which is a good thing in my book! :) We would definitely use her service again.
Sy loved his time with Kira and will definitely be back for more visits. Kira was amazing with all the updates and pictures. Just knowing our fur baby was happy and well taken care of meant the world to us.
My Phoebe loves to stay with Kira! She gets to play with other dogs, goes on walks and is treated like a member of the family ❤️ I am so happy to have found Kira (and so is Phoebe)
Kira and her family are great with our doodle! They treat him like their own! He gets excited when we pull up to her house. I would recommend her to anybody!
She was so good with our goldendoodle. He was so nervous at first, but she kept him calm and updated us regularly. He came home rail wagging and worn out!

Schedule
I am home part time. I have a grooming salon, I bring pets to work with me or they stay at home and I drop in. My salon is close to my home.

I keep my two cats completely separate from all my boarding pups. I also keep them separate from any cats I am boarding. Safety first!!😁

A typical day
I have a big neighborhood to explore in and woods in the back of my property to explore nice long walks in. I have a nice amount of land for the dogs to explore in and trails to walk through, I also have a pond that every dog loves to check out. Although at this very moment I don't have a full fence, Hurricane Michael snatched my fence so until my husband and I have it re built they will be walked around by a leash, very safely. If your animal loves car rides then they will love me, I love having any animal who has been trained to be able to go in public’s and being out of the home. But if not that’s more than okay too, we will have plenty to explore I would love taking your animal to the park to play catch and fetch. I have a lot of attention, cuddles and love to give so your baby, they will ALWAYS be treated as if he/she was one of my own. If there’s anything the owner would like me to do with there pet I’m open to anything!!
