I have had pets my whole life. I am also vet tech of 12 + years. I enjoy cats and dogs, as I have 4 cats and a dog of my own. However, my favorite animals are exotics & marine life. I do have an exotic pet myself- a ball python named Tortellini 🐍🥰 I started pet sitting for Rover in 2019 and my side-hustle grew from there. I have a career as a veterinary technician so clearly, I enjoy spending time with all creatures with paws, claws, scales, or feathers! PLEASE NOTE BEFORE MESSAGING: I work about 50 hours a week (8 to 6 Wed to Sat, 8 to 8 Sun). If you read my reviews, you can see that my work schedule does not impact the level of care and compassion I put into my stays and I treat EVERY pet as if they were my own. If you need someone who can stay home majority of the stay, I am not a good fit. I am certain you will find the right sitter to meet your needs 😊 📚📖PLEASE READ MY PERSONAL POLICIES PRIOR TO REQUESTS: 🐾If your location is more than 25 minutes away from my home and/or job and I agree to sit for you, I will increase my price by $20 to $30 per night to cover travel costs. 🐾 I reserve the right to increase the overall cost of my stay based on circumstance/situation if issues arise during my sits such as: 🐈‍⬛Emergency trips for medical conditions that were not disclosed to me in a proper manner. 🐈‍⬛Inappropriate/rude behavior from clients. 🐈‍⬛Destruction of my personal things during a sleepover/stay by your adorable companion. 🐾Please be as forthcoming and honest about your pet(s) and their medical/unique needs (if any) as you can, so that I am able to ensure your special companion receives the best possible care. 🐾PLEASE allow ample time for me to respond to any calls/messages: 🐢If you are contacting me for the first time: 24-48 hrs. 🐢 Confirmed booking: 24 hrs. 🐢Active Sit: 1 to 4 hrs. 🐾Pricing: I completely understand that life is expensive right now. However, I can't lower my prices so please do not ask me to change my prices. ROVER takes a portion of what I charge so I have to make it financially beneficial. 🐾I require a 10-day cancelation notice for all overnight stays and 5 days notice for walks only. 🐾I require a meet & greet for all requests for new clients. This ensures that we get an opportunity to discuss details, concerns, or questions you may have for me, as well as an opportunity to meet in person 😊 🐾Medication administration is $5 extra per night/visit 🐾Subcutaneous/intramuscular injections/fluids are $10 extra per night/sit. 🐾If you require more than 2 "meet & greets", please be aware that there will be a separate charge of $20 per meet &greet that can be sent to my Venmo account. 🐾If you need references, I will gladly provide them. 🐾I offer services for cats, dogs, small mammal (guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, etc), birds (including chickens), non-venomous reptiles, amphibians, and fish. 🐾My husband helps take care of our own furry & scaley kiddos when I do overnight sits. This means that there is no need to worry that caring for my own animals will not impact the services I was hired for. 🐾💙✨️FINALLY, please know that I AM A SAFE SPACE! I am a woman-run, Latina, LGBTQIA small business and I reserve the right to deny service to anyone that makes me feel unsafe. If this bothers you, I suggest you find another sitter.
