I've had lifelong experience caring for all kinds of animals. Primarily, my family fostered dogs, cats, and rabbits, but I am also familiar with caring for varieties of rodents, reptiles, birds, etc. I'm experienced with administering medication via oral application, dermal application, or injection. Experience with senior dogs and cats and subcutaneous fluids. I love to walk and play with energetic animals. I have experience teaching dogs basic commands and leash training. I live in the heart of downtown Columbus, but I have a vehicle and can easily transport around the city to adhere to your needs. I have a very flexible schedule and can block out extra time for walks and bathroom breaks. I have three cats in my home. All are indoor cats, I do not allow them outdoors unsupervised. I also have one dog who is sweet and docile with a very mild temperament . My pets are always supervised when around any visitors. My pets and other furry visitors are welcome to lounge on any of the furniture, as I regularly keep them covered and vaccumed. I keep my pets on a consistent feeding and play time schedules. For my dog clients, I like to adhere to a consistent walking and bathroom schedule. While schedule consistency with my clients and their pets is ideal, I am more than willing to be flexible if need be. I am usually available for last minute check ins as well. I like to get to know my client’s pets and their favorite toys, rewards, and any special needs they may have. I believe understanding our pets creates better relationships and better consistency with training. While playing with and walking dogs, I will often spend some time working with them on listening commands, much to the benefit of their owners.
