I am a full time student throughout the week so I’m mainly available on weekends or after 5pm on weekdays. My schedule can change some times so availability can vary from week to week but I’m always open to working with you and your pet(s)!

When caring for pets in clients homes I am mindful that this is their home so I try to leave everything in order and not change anything for the animals to ensure the least amount of stress for them. I also mainly try to give the pets their space if they need it but will definitely play with those who love some attention! I have two dogs who are great examples of that so I know how to work with them and their needs!

Let me know if there is any special needs or behavioral needs your pet may need! Any medications needed as well so I ca make sure to administer. Any little routines that your dog is used to is also useful in order to reduce stress for them. I’m happy to help with any needs!
A typical day
I have high energy dogs who love to play, so if your dog is into that I can definitely provide some outside play time or even work up some enrichment toys with household items if needed! I also know that there’s dogs who don’t like that so I’m also more than happy to lounge about with your dog and tend to the as they see fit:)

Hey! I’ve been a veterinary assistant for about 4 years now and love the job. I’m also a second year veterinary student at UTCVM. In doing so, I’m well equipped in reading body language or distress signs in animals. I can also trim nails if needed! Before my job, I did volunteer with MACC to enrich shelter animals so I do know how to go about meeting new animals if they’re a bit weary. I would love to take care of your animals whenever needed!

Keren is an AMAZING pet mommy. She treats every four legged friend as if they were her own. I speak from experience. Any time I need my dog watched or any time I'm even concerned I might be away from home for too long, she's the first person to offer to sit/take him out, etc. She's the person I trust most with my pet and I would recommend her to any one who is looking for a sitter who actually cares about each and every pet's individual need!
Keren does a great job at making my dog feel comfortable. I have always been concerned with one of my dogs being a bit weary of new people but she did great at giving him his space.
