I like to know how the dog is on a leash, any current training that the owner may be working on, and how a dog reacts to seeing certain animals. I also like to know what makes them happiest and if they like a certain area of town the best!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hikes in the area. I also like the dog park because it burns lots of energy, however if the owner requests not to go, I absolutely respect that. For mental stimulation, I use treat sniffing games, dog TV, and Kong desserts. Other than that, I love taking my own dog for car rides.

Pet care experience
Pet sitting is truly one of my passions in life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and it has been a huge part of my life since then! I live in Lowell (25 mins outside of Eugene) with my husband and my pup, Mason. We have a small house with a small fenced in yard and 40 acres to roam. We offer dog boarding 7 days a week and doggy daycare Monday-Thursday. I work full time during the week but my partner works from home and loves to cuddle, play, and walk with every dog we watch. If your dog loves adventure, hiking, and space to run, they will love staying in our home! On the flip side, if your dog loves to cuddle up and stay home, we love to rest and relax as well. I offer pick up and drop off service for dog boarding to Eugene, Springfield and surrounding areas for an extra charge. 😊

Marlin clearly and thoroughly enjoyed his stay and was treated like royalty by Kenzie and Casey. He got to do all of his most favorite things, communication was excellent, and Kenzie and Casey were super gracious, understanding and flexible about pick-up and drop-off changes. Kenzie would make a great pet caregiver! She has interacted with my 2 dogs on several occasions, and they absolutely adore her! She is very knowledgeable about animals and their care, and she loves to play with them. She enjoys walking dogs, taking them to the dog park, playing in her back yard with them. They get lots of attention! She is also responsible, and would ensure that all of their needs are taken care of, as well as handling any issues that might arise. Plus, she is very friendly and courteous towards humans, too! I would highly recommend Kenzie as a caregiver for any of your petsitting needs. I am sure that you will be pleased with her service!
