🐾 Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! I grew up surrounded by horses, cattle, and chickens—and even lived on a fox farm. One of my most unique companions was Barbara, my pet fox, who won “Most Unusual Pet” at our state fair several years in a row! Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of pets including dogs, cats (yes, even the hairless kind!), guinea pigs, fish, toads, and a couple of hermit crabs. I’m experienced in senior pet care and understand the importance of gentle handling and specialized attention, including administering medications both orally and via injection. I’m also well-versed in puppy care and potty training, and I’ll always follow your lead to maintain consistency with your pup’s routine. I have a special place in my heart for animals in need—many of my own pets have been rescues or strays. One unforgettable experience was taking in a pregnant stray cat who gave birth to eight kittens! It was chaotic, heartwarming, and absolutely worth it. I found loving homes for all the kittens, and the mama cat is still with me today. 🌿 For all overnight house-sitting stays, my rate includes a variety of helpful extras to keep your home running smoothly. I’ll check the mail, handle light tidying, water both indoor and outdoor plants, and even move that forgotten laundry from the washer to the dryer.
