Safety, trust & environment

Allowing a dog to be at home and follow routines while his/her "parents" are gone is invaluable to the dog's happiness and sense of security - allowing for the least stress possible. I work from home so your baby will have my company and their routines kept. Also, Rover has safeguards: 1) provides me with a GPS tracker that clips onto the collar in the event your pet gets away; 2) has insurance in place in case of an emergency; and, 3) back-up sitters if anything were to happen to me.

Information Kay M. would like to know about your pet

Are there any restrictions on exercise? How is the dog with meeting other dogs or adults or children on walks and in parks? What is the routine for meals and walks? Is any medication needed?

A typical day

Up to 3 walks a day & lots of play time. Catering to their schedule. Keeping routines. Any work I do is on my computer in your home. I spend the night in your home.

Pet care experience

I will love and care for your dog as my own, I find all dogs to be wonderful. To ensure I know how to care for dogs, I went to puppy kindergarten when training my boxer puppies. They were well behaved and very happy. Allowing a dog to be at home and follow routines while his/her "parents" are gone is invaluable to the dog's happiness - allowing for the least stress possible. It does my heart good when this can happen. Please know of the following things your baby needs to be: - fully house broken - no doggie pads - OK with my being out on appointments for up to 4 hours; this would occur only a couple times in a week. This would be for doctor's appointments, training - those types of things. - Socialized with other dogs, children, and adults, particularly for nice long walks without incident. - Healthy - no medical conditions. I work from home so your dog will have my company during the day as well. That allows for lots of attention and play time. I will enjoy taking your dog on rides with me and to cafes that allow dogs at their outside seating. The more time your dog has my company the better - lots of love and attention. If your dog is OK at parks and dog parks, I'll enjoying taking them to some. Also, I volunteered at BRLA (Boxer Rescue Los Angeles) as I absolutely love dogs and caring for them. I live in an apartment right now so am not able to have one at this time. When house sitting, I'm happy to care for your home as well - watering plants, bringing in the mail, etc. Perhaps that goes workout saying.

Absolutely wonderful sitter. Kay has excellent communication and I felt very comfortable leaving my baby overnight with Kay. She went above and beyond and even cleaned up for me. I would 100% recommend Kay and look forward to booking her again.

Kay was great with our dogs. We could tell right away from the pictures that our dogs settled in quickly and they were comfortable. Would highly recommend.
