I always make sure to meet with the owners beforehand (if possible) and take notes on each specific pet. I will always be sure to lock up afterwards and take out any poop/litter bags before I leave. I love animals, and make sure to match each pet’s energy and comfort level whether they’re shy, take a while to warm up, or absolutely love people.

Just what size your dog is. I love all breeds, but would be unable to walk a dog over 100lbs that is not good on a leash because of my physical size (I'm 5'0 and 100lbs myself). I also like to know what your cat or dog’s favorite toy is for playtime!
A typical day
Dogs: Walks, fetch, belly rubs, pets, playing with toys, and of course treats! Cats: Pets, cuddles, under the chin and butt scratches, brushing, playing with string toys/lasers, and always treats!

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (mostly golden retrievers and labs), but have been unable to adopt one of my own due to my small apartment (I do have 2 cats!). I have a soft spot for senior pets and absolutely LOVE cats! I have 18+ years of experience independently caring for cats and dogs, and have been watching other people’s pets on Rover for over 6 years. You know how much your fur baby misses you when you're gone, and I would love to keep them company while you’re away. My availability in the summer is pretty open because I am a teacher, but during most of the winter months I am limited to school hours. I have lots of time and love to give! 🩵
