Dog lover looking to help out!
I have been working with dogs for the last 10+ years. I have worked with small dogs and large dogs, lazy dogs and active dogs. At one point I worked for a dog walking company taking 13 dogs hiking at once! It was amazing. Since getting my own dog, I haven’t been walking as many dogs lately. But I’ve started nursing school and would love to be able to help out as a study break. My own dog is dog reactive so she will never join, but that means I know all of the quiet forest roads and secret water spots so your pup can have the best time. Have an overly active dog? I frequently bike with my dog (on or off leash.) and run with her and would love to do the same with you pup. And if your dog is reactive? I can make sure they get all the exercise they need without seeing other dogs. Reach out! I would love to learn more about your dog!

Berk had a wonderful time with Katie! Berkeley even got to go on more runs and hikes than she does at home so it was like a vacation for her as well. We'll definitely be asking Katie to watch Berk again in the future. :)
Katie has been great with my high energy border collie/blue heeler, taking him on many walks and caring for him when I have to travel. He always comes back tired, happy and relaxed. Katie shows a great mix of friendliness, enthusiasm, calm competence and an attentive love of dogs. She is very patient and gently and positively makes sure that dogs are well behaved. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly for walking or petsitting dogs.
Katie stayed at our home to pet-sit our dog, Gwen, for three weeks. Throughout our trip, Katie sent us regular "pupdates" and photos of the many hiking and swimming adventures she created for Gwen. When we came back home, our house was cleaner than we had left it and Gwen was relaxed and happy. Over the past year, Katie has watched our dog on many other occasions, and our dog absolutely loves her! When we say "Katie?" Gwen tilts her head and then runs to the door to look for her adventure pal. It's so comforting to know that the person watching our dog is someone who genuinely loves her and cares for her as much as we do.
