I am working full time, but I have a somewhat flexible schedule! I have plenty of time throughout the day to spend some time with whatever pet needs the attention!

In my home, my dog is pretty spoiled :). He is my main priority, as it is just him and myself, and it’s been that way for years! As far as other people’s pets in their home, I will follow any instructions in detail that are provided, but above all I will make sure the pet is happy and healthy and comfortable!

Do they have any issues with new people or dogs? I want to make sure I am prepared for anything we may run into! Do they need any special assistance mobility or behavior wise? Do they have favorite places or things to do? Are they trained in any specific way that would make things easier for them or me to know?

I like to look up the area beforehand to make sure I have a safe route to walk! Anywhere with grass is a plus, preferably a park. Any suggestions in the area are helpful too! If they just require playtime in their yard, I make the most of it with their favorite toys and any other activities they enjoy!

I have had dogs and cats, and also a horse for most of my life! My current dog is a 10 year old rescue from Tennessee, and he’s the love of my life. I’ve worked very hard with a trainer with my pup, so I have some experience there. I volunteered at the humane society and ASPCA for many years off and on, and I also fostered dogs throughout college. Safe to say I have plenty of hands on experience with all sorts of pets :).

Katie was great to work with. She was responsive and very flexible with changes to pet care. Our pets were in very good hands with Katie, our dog does not always warm up well to new people but Katie was patient and gave him time to come around in his own and he did great with her!
Katie is very trustworthy and so good with my pups. She stayed with two of mine for the weekend and everything went smoothly, much less stressful than boarding at a kennel. I cannot recommend her more!!
Katie stayed with my two pups while we went camping for the weekend and I couldn’t be happier. I have a senior Labrador who can be a whole lot of dog at times and a Boxer puppy who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but she was great with both of them! My pups and I definitely recommend Katie☺️
Katie has watched our pets on several occasions. She has always been responsive, timely and considerate. She has followed instructions to the letter re food, walks and any other care needs. Our dog loves her and is very comfortable in her care and is always happy to see her. We highly recommend.
