Honest, Loving Dog Care
i’ve had dogs & cats my whole life; seen many through birthing, sickness, recovery, old age & passing. I’ve trained, bathed/groomed & loved them all. Currently I work P/T in a local grooming salon & I’d love to help you with your pet’s needs; whether it’s dropping in for potty breaks &/or play, leash walking, basic training, pet sitting, bathing/grooming/nail trim, or, if it’s suitable, healthy dog interactions & socializing with other dogs (my Giant Schnauzer &/or my smaller mixed rescue dog.). I’d love to hear about your pet care needs & if I’m not the best fit for your family, I can refer you to other pet care professionals.

Kathy was a great communicator! She was more than flexible with meeting up ahead of time so that our pups could get introduced. She showed us around and was very transparent about what to expect while watching our dog, who felt right at home. I highly recommend her, and I’m looking forward to using her again in the future.
Katherine is a true Dog lover. She understands and cares for Dogs. My Dog cannot wait for his next visit.

Katherine was amazing with Odie! He stayed with her for five days and kept me updated on him by sending me pictures and brief daily messages. Before Odie's stay, she invited me to the meet and greet so that Odie could get to know her and other members of the household. Our conversation that day, and the way she interacted with Odie, let me know that she would be a perfect caretaker for him. I felt at ease the whole time I was away knowing that he was in good hands. I definitely plan on booking with her again!
She made him very comfortable and at home. He was able to play and roam in the house and outside, with her well behaved dogs. I was very pleased with his care and plan on having Kathy watch him in the future.
She did amazing!! I get nervous about leaving my pup with anyone, but she did so great with the other dogs and people. Will definitely be booking her again for my pup!!

Programa
After 20 years in Insurance full time, I’m now only working part time at a grooming salon so my schedule is pretty flexible. I care for my dogs, some family members & my home but there’s plenty of time to help others with their pets while they’re busy working or traveling.

Depending on your dog, what they’re used to & your preference, I can keep them in a kennel at my home or let them be part of our household; free to roam. They can play with my dogs if appropriate or I can keep them separated. I have an underground fence & my dogs don’t leave the yard. But if you’ve got a runner, I can keep them on leash when outside. When/if appropriate, they can cool off in the pool & lounge in the “she shed”. I live on a cul de sac in Granger (no traffic.) If I’m at your home, you can outline the rules & expectations.

With my 2 very active dogs, your pups will definitely get the exercise they need. We also go for walks on leash. I have Snuffle rugs & other doggie games to keep their brain engaged. But if your pup needs quiet time, I’ll provide a safe haven to give them some quiet time.
