Canine Campanion - Home Full Time
I have always had dogs in my life since I was a kid. As an adult I had one for 14 yrs and after she passed, I started fostering until 2 years ago I adopted my current dog, Millie. I love being able to help those in need around me and have some time with other four legged friends. I am currently home during the day and have a very flexible schedule. I am an open book, so if you have questions, just ask. I believe in communication is important to a successful relationship. I would love the opportunity to serve you and ensure your pup gets lots of love, attention, and excercise while you are away. I'm happy to work with you based on yours and your dog's needs. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! :) ***Due to the size of my apartment, I do not accept dogs over 60lbs. ***If your pup has leash reactivity on walks, please do not book with me. This is to ensure all dogs I’m walking, myself, and any other dogs passing by are all safe. ***If your pup has significant separation anxiety or they bark constantly, please do not book with me. Living in a condo, I have neighbors close by and a lot of foot traffic outside so my place would not be a good fit.

My dog loved his weekend with Kat and Millie! She was very communicative and accommodating of my dogs (and my) needs and anxieties. Her dog was very sweet and got along with mine very well. She took great care of him during the 4th of July fireworks and kept me updated on him daily. I will definitely be using her again :)
Katherine was great with Sophie! She sent pics and videos throughout the day! Would definitely recommend!

I needed someone to feed my dog and let him out for a potty break at the last minute while I went to work, and Katherine was super accommodating. She showed up at the scheduled time and kept me updated with photos and videos. Very happy with my experience!
Katherine was great! It was wonderful getting updates of photos and lots of texts to let me know how Jax was doing. She brought him to the park and took such great care of him.

Harmonogram
I have a hybrid work schedule - going into the office some days and home other days. It’s fairly flexible and I strive to not be gone more than 7-8 hours. I take my dog on about 4 walks per day which seems to be a good balance.

After caring for all kinds of foster dogs ranging in past trauma, age, and needs I have become very senitive and mindful to what is needed. It's important that your pet feels safe, calm and comfortable in my home and I do whatever I can to create that envornement.

I have dog puzzles, snuffle mat, licky pad, and dog toys. My neighborhood is really enjoyable to go on walks. I love to have morning and evening snuggles, or whenever they seem to be needed. I am also happy to take them to the dog park if allowed. I do appreciate if you bring your dog’s toys and chews!
