Woodland walks & cuddles aplenty!
Hi, I’m Kat! I’ve been a proud pawrent for 8 years, through which I have gained plenty of hands-on experience. Along the way, I’ve also looked after many other breeds of dogs on a regular basis, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and routines. My own dog, Theo, can be anxious at times, so I’ve learned how important it is to move at their pace, offer reassurance and build trust. I truly believe that taking the time to form strong bonds helps dogs feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just providing companionship, I treat every dog as if they were my own.

Kat had Kesha for a whole weekend and she was amazing. As always, Kesha loves her garden and gets on well with her dog Theo. Kat sent me loads of pics, videos and updates and Kesha came home exhausted after what looks like a super fun weekend for her. Thank you Kat- we are so grateful to have you to look after our girl.
Kesha spend another night at Kat and she took amazing care of her. Kesha loves going there and adores Kat’s garden. Kat was amazing at adapting for Kesha’s needs in the current heatwave. I let her know that Kesha was now off lead and Kat was happy to walk her and I know she took great caution as it was the first time someone other than us had walked her off lead. I am so happy and confident when Kesha goes to Kat- thank you so much once again!
Kat was amazing with Kesha for her first overnight stay. It is very clear that Kat really loves dogs and she takes careful and loving care of them. She was so excited to have Kesha back, and really confident in managing her. Kat is also an excellent communicator which makes arrangements with her so easy. We will absolutely ask Kat to look after Kesha again. Thank you Kat!
Thanks so much for having Gracie the past weekend. She looks like she had a great time and was very happy. I’ll book her in for her next stay shortly 😢😁
Finn had a lovely stay with Katherine and his new dog friend Theo. Katherine kept me updated with videos and photos which put my mind at ease. The photos and videos suggest Theo and Finn got on really well from the start enjoying each other’s company, whether it was heading out for walks in the woods, sharing toys or relaxing together. Finn was very content finding the best sunny spot in the living room and settling in. It was clear he felt comfortable and at ease in their care. We really appreciated the attentive environment Katherine and Theo provided. We’d be very happy for him to stay with his new friends again.
Kat was amazing with our dog Gracie. She made me very comfortable leaving her with her and it was clear Gracie was very happy to spend her day with Kat. We will definitely be booking Gracie on again 😀

Schedule
I’m currently in-between jobs, so I’m able to give your dog my undivided attention when here. I am the primary care giver to our own dog during the working week, taking him for daily walks and making sure he gets lots of play time in-between naps! We’d be delighted to have the company of your dog!

Safety, trust & environment
We have plenty of space for your dog to roam freely around the house. We also have a large garden for them to sniff and explore! Our dog is used to having other dogs around and enjoys the company of others.

A typical day
After breakfast has been served, we’ll head out for a big walk to burn off energy! Once home, it’s time for playing with toys, the occasional treat or snoozing…whatever your dog fancies! This will then be followed by plenty of cuddles & more play before we convene for dinner & an evening snuggled up in the living room 🥰
