I work as a house manager at Vera Project, my schedule is relatively flexible. I will be nearly completely available to either come over to check on animals, or to stay over and take care of them for an extended period. I have a few gaps in some availability in the mornings. Just let me know and we can talk about it! Dog sitting/ check ins are temporarily unavailable in my services. My health is in a bit of a decline and cats are a bit easier for me to work with since dogs tend to need walks and more outside time. I hope you understand!

I don’t personally have animals as of now since I live in an apartment. However, before I moved to Seattle I had a snake I looked after, before then, multiple animals on a farm, (both indoors and outdoors) and my first ever pets were dogs and cats. I, again, am comfortable feeding, walking, grooming, cuddling, with most animals who want to cuddle me back, and I also know how to feed pets medication if they so need it. I stick to routines and schedules that are set up already, and as long as it’s included in your list of needs/ rules I will follow them to a T.

If your pet needs medication (if any kind, injectable’s, swallow only pills, chew pills, etc) If your pet needs any grooming while I watch them (brushing, bathing, oils or lotions if needed, paw cleaning etc) If your dog has any dietary restrictions (allergies. Things that might make their stomach hurt etc) How active your dog/ animal is. If they have any weird quirks (will only drink water out of a certain container, needs to be outside with someone. Needs extra cuddles anything like that.)

I love playing with animals, whether it’s fetch for dogs or playing with a little wand with cats I just enjoy watching animals have fun. I’m a huge cuddler as well, so cuddly animals who will use my personal bubble as their own are always accepted!

I’ve been taking care of cats (especially recently) most often!! I’m able to give cats medication, trim nails, groom/bathe and even brush their teeth. Litter boxes are no worries to me! And I’ve yet to have a cat dislike me that I’ve worked with!

Koto did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Snickers and communicating with us while we were away. I especially appreciated the daily updates and photos of Snickers.
Koto did a great job taking care of my two elderly cats, Misu and Willow. She sent me frequent updates with photos, which put my mind at ease while I was traveling. Koto is caring, detail oriented and is clearly an animal lover. I highly recommend her!
Koto did an amazing job looking after Penny and our house. She sent pictures daily and reached out for ideas when Penny refused her pill pocket medication. Our house was pristine when we got home and Penny was well adjusted and happy as a result of Koto’s care. We highly recommend Koto and would have her take care of Penny again in a heartbeat!
Koto is awesome! This was my first time with a house sitter, so I had no idea what to expect. Koto came over on time, sent picture updates, let me know anytime anything happened, was very transparent, and left my house nice and tidy! They also left me some candy in the fridge at the end of their stay. :) 10/10 would recommend!
