I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—I adjust my care based on their personality, energy level, and specific needs so they feel as comfortable as possible. I’m especially patient with puppies and enjoy helping reinforce basic training like potty routines, leash manners, and simple commands. I’m also very attentive with senior pets, making sure they’re comfortable, moving safely, and getting any extra care or medication they may need. Beyond that, I focus on building trust—not just with pets, but with their owners too. I communicate clearly, provide updates, and make sure you feel confident that your pet is in good hands. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and positive experience for every pet I care for.

When caring for pets in my own home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, and get the appropriate amount of exercise, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just companionship. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow any specific instructions they provide, including feeding routines, medications, or special care needs. I also make sure to keep the environment clean by picking up after the pet, cleaning bowls, and maintaining their living area. Beyond the basics, I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and personality so I can make them feel comfortable and safe. I enjoy spending time with them, giving them attention, and making sure they feel cared for while their owner is away.

Katelyn was awesome! She kept us updated on how our fur babies were doing while we were out of town. We always appreciate good communication so we will definitely have her watch our pets again! She kept the house tidy and the pets well taken care of.
Katelyn was fantastic! She stayed at our house with our dog for the weekend and was so understanding and accommodating with our old guy. She gave us lots of updates and pictures throughout the stay

Katelyn was very communicative and responsive during our sitting. We had a fluke issue with one of our house alarms while we were gone, and Katelyn was very patient with helping us figure out the problem and find a solution. She took great care of our pets and sent many photos. We would recommend her!

Schedule
I love animals & have a passion to be around them. Pet care is an important and meaningful part of my daily & weekly routine. Each day, I make time to feed my pet, provide fresh water, & ensure they get enough exercise and attention. I genuinely enjoy spending that time with them, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or simply being present and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I also keep an eye on their behavior & overall health so I can quickly notice if something seems off. On a weekly basis, I take care of tasks like grooming, cleaning their living space, & making sure everything they use stays clean & safe. Caring for my pet has helped me build a strong sense of responsibility & consistency, & it’s something I take pride in because I know they rely on me every day. I also like to know their personality—whether they’re shy, energetic, or need a little extra patience—so I can make them feel comfortable. It’s also important to know things like their favorite activities, any triggers or behaviors to watch for, and emergency contact information just in case. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure the pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re with me.
